I think its because people want someone with star potential. But people forget solid role players are almost just as important. Devin likely won't be an all star, but he will be a 3 and D guy every team wants.
Maybe not an allstar but I see him potentially being and all-nba player with that wicked defense. He's got room to grow in several ways too. I'm so glad Monte brought him to Sac.
