Much needed rules! It has been 2.5 years and my credit reports has false delayed payamnts . even after multiple complaints, the lazy nexus between the banks and CR agencies are delaying the process. Even RBI is not taking the matter properly. Such a shame for our baning systems.
Likewise I have multiple loans on my name which I have not taken

I have a education loan and for last year i am depositing my emi on time but still from dec 2022 to till date all my payments are showing late payment of 2-3 days ..
Don't know what to do now.
Contacted bank but they said no your payment are on time.

Q. Out of four CICs which one should I approach to check my credit score (for the first time)?
CIBIL is the most important followed by Experian. If you haven't taken any loan or credit card or used any pay later service, your credit score will be 0 or -1.

Not just that. If you have good credit score, the loan provider opens 4-5 queries under your name and the cibil score falls. Then loan provider says you are fit for higher rate of internet only.
Then you tell them that you are not interested in the loan until your cibil score is improved. So you take another small loan and increase your cibil to max. level and request a revised interest rate.😊

Hi i have a query if cibil is spoilt due to default 13yrs back but if the bank or nbfc has not taken any action against the borrower do they still have the right to keep the cibil badly updated as such bank cannot ask for money after 3years limitation period.

I raised dispute with cibil regarding some loan accounts which should have been long closed but still showing active on the report. They closed within a day saying bank said all data is correct. So i guess only bank now can solve this problem.

Atleast these CI's will be in check now onwards..
RBI needs to be more strict on them..they only decline update cibil data in real time you need to keep refreshing all the time for increase in cibil.

ICICI has started EMI on returned product & seller has already refunded ICICI. I am writing to ICICI more than 40 days; they have accepted mistake & reversed processing charges & EMI charges but they not refunding principal amount. Their foolish executives keep on giving shit reply even if explained everything in layman's language. Practically ICICI is not responding, what next step I can take. Please advise.
