  • This Saturday, I've been invited to perform in Milan. Over the next few days, I'll be building the patch that I'll take to the stage, and I want to share this process with you. Starting from scratch, I'll document my thought process in creating a complex patch.
In this particular example, I'll build a patch capable of working without a computer, using only the modules I have available. The goal is to achieve a sound that is aggressive yet clean enough to work well on challenging speakers, given that I don't know what kind of setup I'll encounter.
Additionally, I want to share that the latest modules I've acquired, especially the delay and reverb, have significantly helped me achieve a richer, more professional sound. I'm very satisfied with these effects.
The only connections present at the beginning of the video were my end chain, which consists of a stereo filter, then the delay, then reverb, then a high-pass filter to eliminate frequencies below 30 Hz, and finally a double mono compressor.
I don't yet know the final outcome of this patch as I still need to finish it, but I wanted to post a video of the process since many of you have requested it. I hope you find it useful, and I'm ready to answer any questions you might have.

Nice rack and great sounds. Would have loved to hear some commentary as you're working. Could maybe use an EQ after your reverb.

I'm using the FX AID by happy nerding. Sounds really good and is super customizable with different algorithms.
