Another great video! Thank you Shawn! Love how clear you explain things and show it on film nicely as well. If you have any time in the future, could you please do a video showing all of the maintenance work you need to do with the machine? Sometimes I feel like I'm not even lubricating correctly and really want to make sure I take care of it. I live far from any distributor so your videos are a God send.

Thank you Honey! I am glad you enjoy the videos and that they are helpful! I will try to do a video on maintenance soon!

Hi Shawn, great video! The reason you are getting that squeak is because you are not suppose to leave the rubber spacer in between the driver and the arm. That is used as a spacer when you first set up the cap driver. After the initial setup it is no longer needed and brother actually recommends using it as you did the fabric on your hooping station to prevent damage to whatever you have the hooping station connected to.

This is great! I just bought the Sister to Brother - Babylock Alliance and this video sure does answer my questions on the hat hoop! I notice that you did not use stabilizer. Is that the norm or does it depend on the hat? Thank you so much and I'll look for all of your videos to educate me on my machine.

Great video!! Very helpful. I watched the video Brother has for attaching the driver frame to the connecting plate of the machine. The place where you put the screws has three prongs in their video online. I have the same hoop set that you are showing and my machine is like yours and has just the split in two. Did your dealer mention upgrading the connecting plate?

Thank you! Great video. Did you leave the rubber pad in while embroidering? My instructions say to remove it.

Did you intentionally not use stabilizer?? Is the hat fabric firm enough that you do not need it? Thanks for doing these videos. I do not have a machine yet .. still using my flat bed ones-BL Ellegante & Ellageo.

I was wondering if stabilizer is not needed when using this cap hoop

What is the maximum size of embroidery letters or designs that will fit using the cap frame?

Hello, This is the first time I have seen your videos. I just found your videos. Thanks for what you are doing. So many of us do not know how to use are hat hoops. Questions? When doing a hat you don’t need to use stabilizer? Louise

Thank you for this helpful video! Any idea why my hats are stitching almost 2 inches off the brim? Any help would be appreciated :)

Why did you use the Needle Plate Spacer? WHat does it do?

Great video! I have a question about that little black peace that is on the machine that is above the bobbin, can you please tell me what it is called and where can I get one from!? Thank you!
