    I bought the QC because they were on sale for $179. Figured why not.

    I am having this headphones. when I used to put it in quite mode , I can still able to hearthe background noise clearly such as people speaking nearby and music playing nearby. And when i asked chatgpt it tells like it works effective to block low frequency sound like airplane hum and high frequency sounds like people conversations can't be blocked. Is it true.?
    can you let me know..

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  Před 6 dny +2

      That is generally pretty true if you just have the headphones with ANC on, they are much better at cancancelling out low frequencies and some mids. The highs don't cancel out as well. However when you are playing music too I don't find people talking to be very loud
      Most of the time I can't hear them.

      @@VladimirKostek Yes. when we are listening to music with anc turned on with 80% of volume, We can't hear the background noise mostly. But when we don't do any work and just put in quite mode, then we can able to hear them clearly.. And it can't able to the block the voices which is very near to the headphones.Due to the more sound waves..
      And most of the time we won't listen music right, sometimes we will listen lectures, at this moment is there any possible ways to block more noise.?

      @rahulrock1562 there isn't really unfortunately, just make sure the firmware is up to date. I'm assuming you are using the standard ear cushions?

      @@rahulrock1562True.. We don’t listen to music all the time. I just want this headphones for just ANC.. for longer study session's. Seems like i need to reconsider my decision.. What do you suggest?

    Any suggestions for replacing the headband? The leather has started to peel and they don’t offer replacements for this my headphones are old had them for about seven years I think that the 35s but they’re still amazing and it doesn’t sound like I need an upgrade other than the appearance.

    I'm looking to buy a pair of headphones that will be great for movies, gaming (especially FPS games), and music. I'm considering either the latest Sony ult wear or the Bose QuietComfort . Since this will be my first pair of high-quality headphones, I'm not very familiar with nuances like mids, highs, lows, or bass.. Which one would you recommend?

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  Před 26 dny +1

      Hi Pratik, Those are both pretty good sets. I would say the Bose has slightly better noise cancellation and sound will be quite comparable btwn the two. The sony XM5 or the bose qc ultra have the best sound quality of these but they are much more $. Hope that helps and as for sound eq they both have apps that you can modify those so I wouldn't worry about it depending on which version you decide! Hope that helps 🎧

    Good reminder about Prime Day! Even so, it’ll still be a pricey purchase. Are there any similar headphones at a lower price point that you recommend?

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  Před 3 měsíci +6

      True, Senheisser ACCENTUM and sony Ult Wear are good cheaper alternatives. Even the older Bose QC35 ii is a great set. I linked them all in the description too

    Would you recommend them for the gym ?

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  Před 21 dnem +2

      I've used them in the gym and they were fine. Over ear headphones can get a bit hot so I do prefer in ear wireless like the galaxy buds 2 pro I reviewed. It's all personal preference really tho.

    • @bodkin5

      If you do wear them to the gym, I recommend you give the ear pads or wipe down every time because they start to peel if you have too much oil on them

    I agree about the sound, too bass heavy and sibilant to me even if i EQ -10 bass and treble. Horribly unbalanced and bloated. I feel like everyone thinks Bose still produces a neutral sound because of their past sound signature, but man nowadays the bass amount takes me back to 2010 Beats by dre 😂

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  Před 2 měsíci +3

      I have noticed some sibilance too, depending on the genre of music or movie I will tune it. What is your most used EQ setting Ken?

    • @kenw6047
      @kenw6047 Před 2 měsíci +2

      @VladimirKostek I think I was using around -10, -3, -7 but still couldn't get it perfect. So my bose is up on ebay now 😅

    • @kenw6047
      @kenw6047 Před 2 měsíci +3

      @VladimirKostek The ultras I heard were really nice! I wanted to test them out for sure but was just a little expensive for me. With this recent sale on the Beats Studio Pros for $179 I went with those haha. Honestly much better sounding than I expected and pretty neutral as well, just the build quality is a little cheap!

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  Před měsícem +2

      Hey! In short you can workout with them and I have, I don't find overear headphones the best in general because they get kinda hot. That is just personal preference though, they don't move around too much when working out as they are relatively light fyi.

      @@VladimirKostek Oh yeah, love the silver on QC35 II. Too bad they aren't making that color anymore with new QC.
      It's my first time buying a Bose & a brand new QC costs almost the same as used 35 II in here (+shipping), so new QC it is.

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  Před 3 měsíci +2

      @jackjeter7527 yea the silver ones were really cool, I know colorware customizes them but that would negate any savings as those are a little pricier
