It will increase load on the circuit and many riders had faced serious issues due to it.
We must maintain required load parameters while installing and extra electricity consuming accessories in circuit.

Dude how you installed fatboy alloys in your classic 350. That is awesome looking on them
Alloy wheels are sexyyy... Does this effect the mileage?
Weigh the bare wheels I found that the alloy wheels were 1 kg heavier than the spoke wheels.
In the larger sizes the alloy wheels may be lighter but you need scales to weigh them do not just assume they are lighter.
If you go from a narrower spoke wheel to a wider wheel with a with a wider softer tire the weight, rolling resistance and extra air drag from the extra with can add up when the extra power needed it comes from the fuel tank.
Mag wheels were so named as they were made of magnesium it was used to make light weight wheels for racing and weights were widely advertised.
The down side is magnesium is expensive and can burn it is also difficult to cast and machine. If it gets too hot it burns.
People associate alloy wheels with magnesium wheels as they look the same.
Lighter wheels can improve handling by reducing unsprung mass, allowing suspension to follow the terrain more closely and thus improve grip, however not all alloy wheels are lighter than their spoke equivalents.
