The name of your country is the Republic of North Macedonia, and you are identified as North Macedonians with slavic origins. Like it or not, this is it. You don't have any connection at all to the ancient Hellenic Kingdom of Makedonia, and this is also exactly what your government agreed on the bilateral Prespes agreement in 2018, so Greece 🇬🇷 would allow you to use the name North Macedonia which is similar to Makedonia but its specified, word for word, as "distinctly different from the ancient Hellenic Kingdom of Makedonia and its heritage".
