Today we dive into the confusing and elaborate theory concerning Bored Ape Yacht Club, A company that is valued at 3-5 Billion dollars and has worked with people such as Eminem, Snoop Dog and has the same manager as U2 and Madona (Guy Oseary).
Information connecting BAYC to offensive and hurtful imagery was founded by Philion and Ryder Ripps. Today we show the founder's response to that criticism and also build a case for why the conspiracy could be fabricated.
If the conspiracy is true, it would not only make be absolutely detrimental to the company but it would be the biggest troll in internet history. A $5,000,000,000 one to be more precise.

@@LAKXx he references it directly and the point of the video is to dig into whatever wasn’t covered in the response from bayc’s founders in the interview made after Philion’s post. It’s less a copy, more a deeper dig at what the founders couldn’t explain in a way that would absolve the theory. Either way I’m glad you’d have let it slide even if it was a copy cause any person advertising the importance of this issue is doing a good thing. Really hope more issues like this become publicly known. I just found this channel and this guy is doing amazing work to give good information on important issues.

Man Im glad I found your channel.. I was blown away by the imagery, the editing, the music selection, the story telling, absolutely everything! It was more than just a story it was somewhat an experience.
As someone who spent the last decade on imageboards and who is deeply entrenched in the culture, your understanding of 4chan seems to be very rudimentary. Almost every single reference to 4chan culture you've claimed is present in the stupid monkey NFTs is actually a reference to a specific containment board called /pol/. You see, 4chan is divided into several dozen imageboards denoting specific topics, and /pol/ is the board set aside for discussion of politics. I'd estimate that only 20-30% of regular 4chan users access /pol/. I'm glad you balanced the video out in the end, but I just wanted to say that 4chan isn't this monolithic entity of the alt-right, rather it's a very old (by Internet standards) forum with a culture that only has its worst aspects shown to the public by most media outlets.
Basically I'm asking people not to lump mongolian basketweaving enthusiasts in with wignats or hypercapitalist monkey art.

The celebs and cryptobros might have been "duped," but they failed upwards into making fantastic amounts of money off desperate poor people who thought crypto was a quick way out of their medical bills. And in fact, crypto scams like this have _literally_ killed people, and the creators, knowing that crypto was a massive scam sinking many people into complete poverty, _knew_ that.

I'm not even kidding with an economics background. Somehow a troll history to NFTs somehow in my mind adds value. I kind of view NFTs in general as a potential beneficial technology, but how they've been implemented as a speculative investment is ridiculous and so to own a piece of NFT history that was designed as a troll of the buyer. In such an environment where it is all somewhat of a troll to me somehow adds long lasting value. Now you're not going to probably capitalize on the ridiculous sum of money that it was bought for. But as a buy and hold just as a piece of history definitely seems interesting

Trolling is based on plausible deniability. It's saying "I'm not touching you" while holding a shit smeared finger an inch away from you. You're not supposed to feed trolls. Also, as an aside, no matter if they were just 80% edgy instead of 100% edgy, you're still screwing over people who know antisemitism and minstrelsy when they see it.
It's daft to me that on one hand you can recognize they're trolls, and on the other still come to the conclusion that these people are legitimately racist and not just winding people up.

The only people really hurt by this were minorities, who weren't exactly overrepresented among the investors. The investors simply turned a blind eye, and made shitloads of money. Hypothetically, one of the possible targets of this "art" projects mockery was the investors, but if so, I feel like they won, and everyone else lost. Even the creators lost, they're now known as white supremacists because of their own efforts, (though they deserve it, in my opinion.)
