    At first, it was noticeable how it was just a dream, as I could see the supernova happening as if I was just 1 light year from it, with light going THROUGH buildings, but when it was calm, it shined with it's red glow, a ring of light, and of course, the 4 light rays. I don't know what my brain has with predicting things lately, cause i've been having dreams like this, predicting stuff.

The only things I can say is that the sky was full of stars even if I was in the middle of the city looking from a window, and that the star moved incredibly fast across the sky, symbolizing again that it was a dream.
      Oh, that wasn't the topic, read it wrong. Whatever.
      Now i'll do the thing you actually asked for.
      I had a dream predicting...death. Yes, death.
      It all started with a completely white room, with god waiting for me. No, there were no stairs. it was just a completely white room. Then, god showed me a world that all angels share to do anything they want, and as a result, it was kinda destroyed.

      It would be less bright than the full moon, so it would cause a few months of slight disruption but not completely. The science to be gained from observing a supernova that close would far outweigh the loss

    • @Robert08010
      @Robert08010 Před 11 měsíci +2

      To a degree. Just like astronomers generally avoid that part of the month when the moon is bright, they would also probably avoid that part of the sky while Betelgeuse is bright.

    Betelgeuse has very similar cycles to our star.
    We're nearing the bad point of our longest cycle and thats why the sun's been messing with us so much lately. Im pretty sure our cycles are about half as long though.
    The last time we were at this point in the cycle was around 12000 years ago during the miyaki event.
    You can also see the effect of one of the smaller cycles in the thames river and what years it stays liquid vs what years it freezes in the winter. We just recently switched cycles into the phase where it stays liquid for a few decades im pretty sure.

    • @Herkimer_Snerd
      @Herkimer_Snerd Před 11 měsíci +3

      The sun cycles between solar maximums every 11 years. No disrespect but that is nothing like Betelgeuse. The solar maximum due in 2024-2025 doesn't change temperatures on Earth. The reason the Thames is not freezing is due to global warming, which causes climate change. One of the main drivers of climate change right now is the 50 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide being added to the atmosphere every year from human activity.
