When we press the button, it will connect relay 2, which will discharge the capacitor powering relay 1, which will supply with 220v to the welding transformer
2 Changeover Relay 12VDC 5 Pins
Two circuits (terminals 87 and 87a ) have a common terminal (30). When the relay is at rest 87a is connected to 30, and when the relay is energised 87 becomes connected to 30 (but never both at the same time).
3 switches on-off

5 LEDs indicating circuit
Capacitor 16v 110uf,220uf,440uf
1 LED Module DC12V
1 12v DC Cooling Fan
1 Transformer 12v
When we press the button, it will connect relay 2, which will discharge the capacitor powering relay 1, which will supply with 220v to the welding transformer

this is the one i'm looking for, the only diy spot welder video that doesn't burned the nickel strip, the diy timer is genues hands down.
thanks. I'm glad it was helpful to you.
the capacity of the capacitor makes the welding time longer or shorter.
A good day
@@CMCdiy i have done it and it works well. Thanks
Thank you so much. I made a Spot welding machine by watching the video. It was not as easy as it seems.
Good job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🇮🇳 || Kuki
Hello and happy new year. Thank you for this video and your time. Please can you mention the thickness of nickel strip? Thank you in advance.
Looks good, maybe some shrink tubing around the electrodes will help to keep them from shorting out on each other when welding the strip to the battery.
Thank you
You're right, there should have been a little insulation there
Thank You. Good Work. @ 18:55 Two probes seems to touch each other. Is it made so purposefully or by mistake?
Excelent work. Well assembled and strong soldering station for batteries. Good job.
Thank you, 🤗
Great idea and very useful!👍
Thank you Emma,👍🤗
Are you missing rectifiers to get DC voltage?
Excelente idea yo a la verdad me preguntaba como se podía hacer esa soldadura de punto. Pero no se me ocurría nada. Ahora veo tu idea me gusta funciona muy bien.
es una soldadura duradera con costos mínimos
Nice , video,,,,,, saves time by time-lapse ,,,,,,,skipping sawing and other predictable actions.....well done!
Others should follow example....
please use yxky handheld spot welding pen
great work, im gonna build one now :) the closest capacitors are 16v 100uf 16v 470uf is that ok? (16v 220uf is in the list on ali)
is it possible to make a selector switch to build the capacitors inside so you can select the capacitors with a switch?
and how much amps should the 12 relay be that powers the transformer and the 12v transformer, 2a ?
thx :) nice build!!
Great video, keep up the good work, but as a general reccomandation try to make things clearer and more detailed.
What resistance should the 5 resistors be? Would 1K be enough or would you go higher?
🤗Thank you.
The 5 resistors are for LEDs, it depends on which LEDs you use to withstand the 12v transformer
Great job. A question. What is the benefit of the circuit and the electronic parts that I added with the microwave transformer? Is it an alternative to the circuit that is usually used in making a spot welding machine? Thank you.
Yes, exactly
that additional circuit makes the welding time short, not to burn the nickel strip and implicitly the battery.
the capacitance of the capacitor makes the weld longer or shorter.
@@CMCdiy Muchísimas gracias
thank you very much
Well done
Great idea!!!
Thanks,
NO Gościu great job thanks for that video
Awesome great job. 👍🏻. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
what is the voltage in sekundary coil ?
Very good 👍
Thenks,🤗
How many volts do you have on the secondary?
I can't tell you because I haven't measured it ☹
Ok, I have to try this. I need a spot welder to weld 160 batteries, so 320 connections 2 welds per connection so i need it to last 641 times.... 1 extra for my mistake, lol
Thanks for the video. I'm pretty sure I will find a microwave for free somewhere soon. :)
Very Nice
Thanks Jessica.
i saw a hole in the cell at the starting when you strip out the nickel plate...i think its dangerous...pls mention it....
Good idea. But more commercials in the video, please. Placing a commercial every 3 minutes is clearly not enough.
Sorry about that.
Thank you for your support
Очень хорошо !!! Very good, well!!! С меня лайк и подписка. Like and subscribe from me.
thank you
It works very well, the important thing is not to lose amperage at the connections
@@CMCdiy I tried, but I have 700 watts, it burns metal on a long pulse, but it doesn’t cook on a short 0.15 mm, 2 transformers are needed. And it’s expensive
@@rubenhayastan4854
I had the same problem.
I did this at minute 11:44 this scheme reduces the impulse
There are two relays and a capacitor, the larger the capacitor, the greater the impulse.
