Amen!!! I got the same revelation from God after praying and fasting to know the truth. In the OT, the punishment of working on Sabbath day was death. Under the New Covenant (we are now resting in Jesus) if we work (do works of the flesh), we will surely die. There's no Salvation with works of the flesh, only death. The Sabbath is indeed a shadow of what it was to come: the New Covenant and the rest that God promised to His people that it got fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

I grew up as an SDA Cristian. I grew up observing the Sabbath. I was very discriminated against as a child because of it, but I just love that I had the opportunity to know the bible. Jesus never changed the Sabbath. He observed the Sabbath. It was established since the beginning, just as the marriage between a man and a woman. Changing to Sunday, the day of the sun, was the Catholic church. We will be known by it as a sign of obedience to God's and a seal to distinguish us from others. Thank God for the Sabbath. You were so thoughtful to give us a day of rest from our daily work.

This space is not really suitible for discussions. However i can ensure u that the facts SDA brings forth on this subject are incorrect. Early christians had the habit of gathering on the 1st day of the week long before Constantine or a RC church with papacy. I could quote many apostolic- and churchfathers about this. Most or all of them point to Christs resurrection on the first weekday, sometimes callng it the '8th day' of renewal. Btw this resurrection sunday was forshadowed in the jewish day of first fruit within the passover season (in the law). The church sees every sunday as a echo of this. There is originally no single link with (a change) of the 4th commmandment sabbath wich was fulfilled together with the feasts in Christ Himself. Thats also the messsage of this video, a start of spiritual rest trough Christ now, completed in the future.
Read some of the other comments here they say similar things.
Constantine was no theologian and simply used the roman name of the fist day, in a time that some christians were judaising and the church gathered also to adress this. Sunday as a sabbath is more a (sub)cultural and political development. Especially by the time of the english puritans.

    • @edagutierrez6148
      @edagutierrez6148 Před 5 měsíci +1

@ml5554 but Jesus was a jew . He came from the tribe of Judah. He was genetically chosen. He never changed the Sabbath. I do not care if the first Christians gather on Sunday. That is tradition and not necessarily the right th8ng to do. God created a Sabbath attached to the creation week. And nowhere in the bible said to change it to Sunday. It's was arbitrarily changed. Jesus never observed the Sunday. What we believe is not wrong. If Constantine confirmed the Sunday, it was an easy thing to do. After all, they ended paganizing, the church adopting other festivities , renaming it under Christian themes.
No where Jesus o God changed the resting day, created at the very beginning. Make more sense to me. It was a terrible thing not to try to get the jews involved but reject them and dispose of them as trash. After all, thanks to them, we have the option for a better future. Reed Romans 11.

@@edagutierrez6148Yes a jew He also was cicumcised, celebrated all the 7 holy feasts, weared one fabric clothes, was subordinate to the priest and the temple service etc. These are however conditions of the old covenant, and no christian keeps all the 614 from 'the law'. Sabbath was an (outward) sign for specially given to Israel. It is also not consistent to only keep a certain set of laws. There is a moral law however, it exludes ceremonies like the sabbath an the feasts(mentioned together in NT) . So no change is made anywere, a fulfillment is the clue here. But i understand u are deeply influenced by de SDA teachings.

    • @edagutierrez6148
      @edagutierrez6148 Před 5 měsíci +1

@ml5554 I believe you are very wrong. You can not sherry pick what law you are going to keep. The Sabbath is obviously written in the 10th commandments. It's not part of the ceremonial law wish was completed with the sacrifice of christ.
The Sabbath was established when no jews walked the earth yet. Meaning, it was for all of us. I keep the Sabbath, and I celebrate as a day for Hod and myself. A day of rest and disconnection from the worldly things. I strongly believe that God created this day for all humanity. The Catholic church deliberately changed to Sunday, which is not biblical. I will not disobey the commandments of God, written by his own finger, written for my own benefit.

    • @edagutierrez6148
      @edagutierrez6148 Před 5 měsíci

@ml5554 nop. Very wrong. The 7th day was created when God was done with the creation of the earth. And God saw that all was good and rested the 7th day. No jews existed back then. Then, he chose Abraham and his son Isaac, and from Isaac 's 2 sons, he chose Jacob or Israel. From Jacobs 12 sons, particularly choose Judah to be the ancester of Jesus. As a man, Jesus was under the first covenant. He said himself, he didn't come to abolishe the law or the prophets. He said no one tild will be abolished. The Sabbath is part of the 10th commandments. Jesus said, "I give you 2 new commandments. Love God with all your heart and mind, which resumes the first 4th commandments of the law written by God himself. The 2nd grand commandment is to love your neighbor as you love yourself. This summarizes from the 5 to the 10th original commandments. Also written by God. That is why it's important. The 4th commandment starts as "Remember"
You keep on doing what you are doing, and you will be like Cain. Offering God what he thought was the best but was not what God expected.
The only fulfilled law given to the Israelites that no longer applies is the animal sacrifice. Other laws related to the moment the Israelites were living during their wandering thru the deset that are also not appropriate for our time. About the feasts they celebrated, have a symbolic meaning about the second coming of Jesus. Many of the events in the NT with the new Christians happen during these celebrations. People just don't know. Dismiss everything resulting in an extrange religion. Not what Jesus meant for us. And for that matter, not what God wants.

If someone could explain this, that would be great.
What about “Therefore my judgement is that we don’t trouble those from amongst the Gentiles who turn to God, but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood. For Moses from generations of old has in every city those who proclaim him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.””
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:19-21
Why would Jacob mention Moses being read (Torah) in the synagogue every sabbath?... why would that matter if when you come to Christ “we’re already in his rest”? Doesn’t that mean that they did keep the Sabbath? Cause it sounds like he is saying these gentiles would learn about the rest (Torah) in the synagogue.. every sabbath.
Also that reminds me of this verse “saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sat on Moses’ seat. All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:2-3‬ ‭
Didn’t the Pharisees teach the Law when they sat in Moses’s seat?... the Messiah himself told the disciples to do all they command except what they do/don’t do.
    And the prophecy in Isaiah;
“The Lord says, “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation [yeshuah-ti] is near and my righteousness will soon be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it and keeps his hand from doing any evil.””
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭56:1-2‬
God (the one speaking this prophecy) put respecting the sabbath right along side with not doing evil... it sounds to me like it’s a big deal to him. And he was talking about the future here. The entire chapter 56 is about the acceptance of the gentiles and he says “blessed is the man who does this... who keeps the sabbath without profaning it.
People who have commented on here who used to keep the sabbath, make the sabbath sound like it was a burden they used to bear. It’s a command of God, remember when israel was in the desert their sin was complaining... and putting aside God’s commands. The whole purpose about this new covenant is about God writing his laws and statutes in our hearts. And whether we like it or not.. The Sabbath day of rest is right along side of the 9 Commandments we are striving to keep today. If we are already in his rest, and don’t have to literally keep And respect His Sabbath.. does that mean we are already holy and have achieved complete righteousness and no longer have to keep the other 9 commands literally too? So we can steal, kill, have idols, etc. Because Christ is our sacrifice and we no longer have to make an effort? Makes no sense.

The Council at Jerusalem decided that those things (abstaining from sexual immorality, eating strangled meat, worshipping idols and eating blood) were of immediate importance to be given up by pagan converts but that they would learn about all of God's commandments over time, hearing the Torah read Sababath after Sabbath as they attended Sabbath worship meetings.
We learn precept upon precept as we walk with Him, not everything all at once.
Circumcision was not one of the urgent necessary things to do.

      @Ann Campbell
      Peace to you.
I am familiar with Adventist teaching, and was briefly a student of such teaching. I now reject this based on the following.
      In Jeremiah 31:31-32
“31 Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a *new* *covenant* with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, 32 *not* *like* *the* *covenant* *that* *I* *made* *with* *their* *fathers* *on* *the* *day* *when* *I* *took* *them* *by* *the* *hand* *to* *bring* *them* *out* *of* *the* *land* *of* *Egypt* , my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord."
The previous covenant God mentions by the prophet Jeremiah was engraved in stone according to the books of Moses
Exodus 34:28 "...And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments."
Deuteronomy 4:13 "And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone."
And God tells us by the prophet Jeremiah
Jeremiah 31:33 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people."
That word translated in english: law
is Strongs Hebrew word 8451. torah
      meaning "direction, instruction, law".
(I mention this because the first 5 books are called the Torah, as the whole book is the teaching/commands God gave to his people through Moses, Jesus also gives law and teachings)
      the word covenant:
      strongs hebrew 1285. berith
      means
      1. trety, alliance, league
      2. constitution, ordinance
      3. agreement, pledge
      etc.
I'm going to focus on #3 (Though they all encompass the full beauty of the word)
When a Covenant is made, it is an agreement/pledge to do things and in exchange the other party will do things.
God makes this clear to the Israelites in Exodus 19:5-6
"Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; 6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ ..."
So the Israelites had an obligation and commitment, and in exchange they would belong to God as his holy kingdom and nation of priests (among other benefits God will lay out before them in exchange for their faithfulness to his terms.) and by failing to be faithful would see judgements placed upon them until they repented. John the Baptists ministry was intended to bring Judah to repentance Malachi 4:4-5,Isaiah 40:3-4 and return to his covenant Deuteronomy 30:1-6 So that he could send a messenger of the Covenant (Jesus) to come to them in fulfillment of Jeremiah 31 (Malachi 3:1)
According to our scriptures all throughout the prophets (Jeremiah 31 etc.) and well versed in our New Testament. We have a New Covenant, and just as the previous Covenant came with conditions (Torah) to be obeyed/followed (Exodus 20-Deuteronomy) So too does this New Covenant have conditions (Torah) to be obeyed/followed.
So where then can this be found in our scriptures. You correctly mention Jesus and John commanding and instructing us to keep Jesus's commandments. Well Just as Exodus 19-20 gives us the account of the Covenant made with Israel and their commands to follow in it. The Gospel accounts also give us this very same thing but unfortunately, has not been easily visible to some.
If you read the Gospels and look for the context of each story you'll find the passages before and after the garden of Gethsemane in each gospel, with each giving important details. Matthew, Mark, Luke tell us that indeed a new covenant was ratified during the last supper
Matthew 26:28 " for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
Mark 14:24 "And he said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many."
Luke 22:20 "And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood"
Now whats interesting is just like Exodus where there's a giving of the covenant and the commands to follow in observance to that covenant. This too has an observance as well!
John dedicated chapters 12-18 to detail the accounts that Matthew, Mark and Luke told us in 1 chapter.
During this same supper that the New Covenant is given, John records Jesus as saying the following
John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”"
As you stated above quoting John
1 John 2:4 " Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,"
Continuing the context of John's epistle this is what he has to say regarding the commandments he's speaking
      1 John 3:22-24
"22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
      >>>>>>>>>>>23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.

      @dierksbii Před 4 lety

@Ann Campbell These 3 verses are 1 and the same thing my friend
      1 Corinthians 7:19
Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God's commandments is what matters.
      Galatians 6:15
For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation.
      Galatians 5:6
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.
Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Sabbath that was meant to bring rest points to Jesus. It was a shadow of the things to come my friend.
Colossians 2:16-17 "16Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ."
      As God says in Exodus
      Exodus 31:16-17
      16 Therefore
the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath
throughout their generations, as a covenant forever.
17 It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”
word translated as forever in verse 16 is strongs hebrew 5769. olam
      means: long duration, antiquity, futurity
The word does not always represent forever in the sense you interpret.
As I said this covenant is the old one
Deuteronomy 4:13 "And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone."
But promised a new covenant which Jesus gave. Just as the Sabbath was a sign for the old Covenant. We too have a sign for the new as well.
      John 13:34-35
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
      1 John 2:7-11
7 Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard.
8 At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.
9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.
10 Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.
11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
1 john 3:23-24 " And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us."
      1 John 3:11-15
11 For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous. 13 Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you.
14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death.
15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

      @Ann Campbell Peace to you
Deuteronomy 4:2 "You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God that I command you."
Do not take away from the Covenant God gave his people.
God did not change the original contract he made with his people. Simply gave them a new one with new commands (Jeremiah 31)(Luke 22)(John 13). Those who add or take away from the commands are violating the word of God. Nowhere in scripture does it say only the ceremonial Sabbaths were removed in obligation, nor does it make a distinction between them in terms of what should and shouldn't be observed. Be cautious of modern teaching telling you otherwise. If you partake in the Old Covenant you are bound by the whole Law of the Old Covenant. If you partake in the New Covenant you are bound to keep the whole law of the New. This law was given by Jesus to his disciples when he gave the new covenant and his teaching and actions reflect this command given.
Galatians 3:15 " To give a human example, brothers: even with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified."
Galatians 5:3 "I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law."
I know this is regard to sabbath keeping (10 commandments) and not circumcision but the point Paul is making is that by entering that covenant (via Circumcision) your entering into the terms of that Covenant (including the 10 commandments, (the old covenant as Deuteronomy says)).
I believe the school of faith in which you practice does not teach how a Covenant/Contract, with terms of obligation works. If you have a new agreement with new terms, your not taking from the old, your just not participating in the old. Instead your abiding by the new terms of service for the new contract which was established.

Sadly, the Reformation stopped short of returning to the Bible for truth and away from the Roman Catholic Church's substitutions of pagan practice for God's commandments: nuns, monks, swearing to life-long celibacy, rosary beads, the worship of "Mary", Christmas, Easter, Sunday worship, bowing to statues and paintings (idolatry), votive candles, sun worship symbols, priests wearing Roman garb, praying to the dead and many superstitions, as well as taking on the Roman solar calendar and naming days and weeks after false gods, and forsaking God's lunar calendar.
The early church adopted the Roman day of the "invincible" sun God, Sunday, in its rejection of the Jews, at the Council of Nicea, excommunicating anyone who observed Sabbath (or Passover instead of Easter).
Samuele Bacciocci's book from Sabbath to Sunday, was his thesis, having had access to the Vatican archives for His research. The antisemitism is shocking and a disgrace. Many different excuses for Sunday worship have been made over the centuries, with today's most common one being that it commemorates the resurrection. But 150 years ago it was still called the Christian Sabbath and observed by many from Saturday sunset (see Little House on the Prairie books, for example).
In fact, the RCC claims Sunday as its own day and the reformers were asked, "Why do you observe Sunday if you believe in 'the Bible alone'?" I have heard a modern day Catholic priest say that Sunday is the Catholic day of worship and does not belong to the Protestants.

I agree 100% with you on everything you described. And the Roman Catholic Church is this Great harlot that sits on many waters, (Rev 17:1) because of all these abominations in this church. As a former Roman Catholic, I can tell you that this whole system is antichrist and is a "Neopagan" religion, based on these ancient Mystery Babylon religions from antiquity. (Roman Catholicism just masquerades as a Christian Denomination, when it's really not) The whole 17th Chapter of Revelation is actually identifying this Apostate System. Anyone who submits to this system and observes it's traditions, including Sunday observance, Easter, etc according to Rev 13:2b, is really doing Satan's will, not God's. The Papacy works through Satan, not through God. And as far as the Pope is concerned, he's Satan's spokes person here on this earth. (The Pope is the Antichrist) The Roman Catholic Church also has a Very bloody past. Through Church and State Union, (538 Ad - 1798) the Roman Catholic Church brutally persecuted an estimated, 50 Million - 100 Million people throughout the Dark Ages. (This is the biggest reason why I'm not a Roman Catholic anymore) In March of the year 2000, the then pope, John Paul II, publicly apologized for all of the atrocities this system committed during the Dark Ages. The Roman Catholic Church truly is the Synagogue of Satan. God bless.

The Bible is very clear about these topics :
      - The first one is a yes, unless you accept gifts or compromise you faith and biblical values in order to run for it.
      - The second is definitely a no, because the Bible commands Christians to dress modestly and wearing lingerie in front of strangers is the opposite of modesty.

While those convicts were pardon by the highest authority of the country, would they be obliged to keep the laws of the country, upon reentering the society? Or they could do whatever they wanted, since their pardon came from the highest autority in the country? To show gratitude for their release, from the boundage of prison, through the pardon that came, they need to show they understand the wrongs, the crimes, and rehabilitation. Of course they have to obey the laws of the country, otherwise they would end up back in prison. My brothers and sisters it's the same with us. Yeshua (Jesus) paid the price for us, He died on the cross so we can be pardoned for our sins. How do we know that we sin? We look at the 10 commandments. Should we continue to sin, for the grace to multiply? No! Yeshua, will not die again for us. Keeping the 10 commandments is to show that we gratefull for His pardon. Every country has their own set of laws, more importantly the one of God's. We are reconciled through Yeshua, but we need to keep what God has asked us all to keep. His Commandments! Unless we want to be convicted by Him one day.

Yes you can worship Jesus everyday but the Sabbath day is the day of rest that God commanded us to do. It's part of his ten commandments.
The church has been spreading too many lies.
The apostles never changed the Sabbath to the first day of the week as many like to claim from the Bible verse in acts 20:7
This is a mis translation of what was written in Greek.
Acts 20:7 (KJV) And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
The word day is in italics which means it's an added word. And the word in Greek that they have translated a first is actually 'one'
The verse actually says 'one Sabbath' or you can translate it as the following.
And the first of the sabbaths, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart the next day, and continued his word until midnight.
This verse makes a lot more sense when you read the Bible in context which is how it should be read.
Why does it say 'the first of the Sabbaths'
Because when you read the following verse, you will understand that they were counting Sabbaths for the Pentecost.
Acts 20:16 (KJV) For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.
      Leviticus 23:15-16 (KJV)
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
      Hope this helps you.
Corinthians is the same reason as above.
      1 Corinthians 16:2, 8 (KJV)
2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

Do you people obey the commandments revolving around the true Sabbath keeping? Do you drive (kindle fire) on the Sabbaths to get to the Holy Gathering place? Do you not stay put on the Sabbath Revival Gatherings at the Holly Gathering place? Do you travel more than a Sabbath day's journey on the Sabbaths? If so, why do you disobey To'rah? If you keep all the commandments of To'rah (that we can keep today), then you should be seeing the Whirlwind of Fire, Cloud of Glory, Mighty Rushing Wind literally appear in your revival gatherings and experience super inner love, inner joy, and inner peace.
I encourage you to keep the commandments of To'rah because if you do then the Glory shall literally appear and many souls will become converted because of the deep love shed inside of your hearts. Here is Bible study to show some basics of true Sabbath keeping if you don't already know:
Exodus 16:22 - 30 says to gather and cook double on the sixth day (the day of preparation of the Sabbath) and eat leftovers on the Sabbath. It also says to stay put or tarry on the Sabbath.
Exodus 20:8 - 11 says for your entire household to remember the Sabbath and not do servile work.
Leviticus 23:1 - 8 says to have a holy meeting (revival gathering) on the Sabbath.
Nehemiah 10:31 says to not buy or sell on the Sabbaths. (Buying and selling is considered servile work)
Nehemiah 13:15 - 19 says they had shut in holy meetings on the Sabbaths.
Nehemiah 13:21 shows how seriously they took keeping the Sabbaths in Jerusalem.
Exodus 35:2 says to not kindle any fire on the Sabbaths. (no driving vehicles because fire kindling in engines)
Mathew 24:20 says to pray that your flight be not in the winter nor on the Sabbath day. (It's sin to travel far on the Sabbaths)
Acts 1:12 proves there is a Sabbath day's journey to keep based on Exodus 16:22-30 and Mathew 24:20, as well as other oral and written commandments.
So why does God command these things for proper Sabbath keeping? Because God knows what's best for us and loves us enough to give us the keys to blissful life, if we trust God in doing what He said to do in the first place. You invite believers over to revival gathering place before Sabbath evening starts, so no one has to travel far to get to it and break Sabbath commands. Then everyone is there to stay put and not leave until Sabbath ending the next evening, so everyone is tarrying in one accord, in one place to pray in one accord, praise in one accord, magnify God in one accord, and fellowship, then start again, over and over all day long like copying heaven on earth. It is to pray until everyone is healed, praise until the Whirlwind of Fire literally appears, and everyone is eudued with the same amount of Power as prophets and apostles of old had. Tarry in Jerusalem until you be endued with Power from on High - Jesus (during the High Sabbath Feasts) and that's exactly how you too can become the same way as long as you are not doing by power or might but by my Spirit says Yahuah.
We do 72 hour revival gatherings sometimes and is even more powerful than 24 hour revival gatherings, the longer you tarry in one accord in one place by the Spirit the closer you get to God and more charge up you become and you hear God so clearly like thundering voice of Yah. One accord prayer is like singing same song in one accord too, there is power when everyone is siting same prayer at the same time with one voice, just like bands playing in one accord.
All Glory to Yahuah our God through Yeshua Name. I wrote as encouragement for all, and shalom l'cheim - peace to you all

Shalom. If your a follower of Jesus than you are NOT a gentile you are grafted into the tree. Sabbath usually begins at sunset on Friday to Saturday sunset. When you research it please be mindful that you do not get drawn into the does and don’ts and focus only on the don’ts. There are a lot of false Talmudic teachings and Laws out there. If you follow only God than His yoke is light!

Jesus is our sabbath rest. Jesus as Lord of the sabbath is above it. If we go to temple to worship on the sabbath how much more should we worship Jesus daily.
There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.

Hi James. I was same as you bit confused.
Jesus fulfilled 10 commandments, He is our ultimate Sabbath rest too. Not saying 10 commandments are not in play, they're written on our hearts and minds.
But unlike God we get weary and tired. We get a spiritual rest from Jesus. But also a physical rest, you can't work 7 days a week constantly and still function, we would be harming ourselves mentally emotionally physically and spiritually. God gave it to us for us. This is my understanding, but there's one that can give you a better answer than I. Our father and His word, pray for revelations. God bless

Yes, and none of the things He did on the Sabbath were against the Law. That's why Jesus rebuked the Pharisees : because they followed man-made rules and traditions, instead of the Torah.
Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples : “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them" ( Matthew 23:1-3 ).

The Day of the LORD may be refer to the any of the autumn holiday in the 7th month of biblical calendar, namely the Yom Teruah (trumpet), Yom HaKippurim (atonement) or Sukkot (harvest of grape; tabernacle). If you follow through the rest of John's apocalypse you'll find a recurring theme of harvest, trumpet and grape. Coincidentally, the gentile Christian hasn't known the meaning of autumn feasts, so they only know Easter (resurrection of first born) and Pentecost (beginning of church era). Our Lord the Messiah will reveal the meaning of autumn harvest to all his follower in the time of tribulation and the Jews and Christians will follow the same feasts in the day to come.

I would challenge you to find in scripture where Jesus encouraged His followers to start observing sabbath on the first day of the week. Also, search to find out whether or not Jesus, His disciples, or Paul ever considered Sunday the sabbath. You may want to search out where Sunday sabbath actually began. Additionally, consider that there is no other day of the week that God set apart and called holy. I understand it is hard to break from tradition since we have lived by doctrines for longer than we have actually lived by God's word. Read God's word and let Him teach you. Shalom!

The Sabboth day does represent the last thousand years of rest of this earth, when Jesus rules with an iron fist, and Israel lives in peace.
Christians have become the first fruits, with Jesus, of the new creation. We are in this old world, but not of it.
    Our mother is New Jerusalem.
The Sabboth does belong to Israel.
The eighth day, Sunday, represents the new creation.
It is the day of Jesus's resurrection.
It is the eternal day of the new heaven and earth.
