Marlborough Summer Fair 1993 - A SHORT FILM BY IAN PHILPOTT

Thought you might like to see a short film I shot of Marlborough Summer Fair way back in 1993. The fair has taken place on the Town’s Common since 1975, after moving from Marlborough's Elcot Lane playing fields. However, since the absence of the accompanying Carnival, its appearance has been somewhat intermittent and last took place in 2017. Hopefully, it will be back in the near future.
This film shows lots of once familiar fairground attractions, all of which travelled regularly with Jennings Fairs on their Wiltshire circuit.
