Hey guys! I hope you love Tool!
Finally! Huge fan of Tool as well as the channel. Keep it up!
VERMILION I sure do
Yesss
Very cool selection, but where is my CHEVELLE Riiffs video? 😁
nope!
The one dislike is probably Maynard trolling you.
Now it's the rest of the band
It's Danny Carey with his octopus arms

Major props for playing Jambi the right way and not with pulloffs
Except he was using pulloffs...
gdawgs101 Look very closely, hes using one finger to quickly bend and release the string, rather than using two fingers to 'pulloff' from a higher note to a lower
He doesn’t do the hammer on pull off thingy like some people. He uses (as papa ben would describe it as) the pull through technique
Metal Gear SoLiD-AxE he’s only pulling off the low D string. He needs to pull THROUGH the low d and the a strings.
Yeah you're right, Jones pulls thru both the a and higher d while muting them.
So this guy was doing it correctly but not completely correct.
It's awesome how creative Adam gets with the same drop D turning on every song.
Right? Godsmack also is primarily drop D and it’s just super boring straight forward.
Turns out the 1 guy that disliked this video was that kid that told maynard he thought tool were selling out
😂😂😂
He’s the fucking man
LOL
@@tomwhitehill4308 and I'm the man as well.
go away

There is so much more and beckons, to look through to this, infinite possibilities.
Tool are truly in a class all their own, I was lucky to see them just before the pandemic started and it was something I’ll never forget
Same, in DC like just a couple weeks before covid I think. So happy I got to go. Now I live in portland and I’m pretty sure that was the last place they toured before covid and it’s gonna be the first place they play at when they get back to touring. Unfortunately probably won’t be able to attend it

The one dislike was Paul D'amour
One of my favorite riffs to play from Tool is the end of Hooker with a Penis when Maynard is singing "Buy, buy, buy my new record". Very cool stuff.
I'm two years wait from you top Mushroomhead riffs
Honestly you could throw any riff from any song in here Adam Jones is just an incredible guitarist and I will never not be amazed by his riffs. It’s a lot like Danny Carey’s drumming I will just always be in awe

top ten killswitch engage riffs?
he finally did it if youre interested
Finally🔥🔥🔥
Agree
I like that the other instruments get a chance to shine in tool songs
Tooooooooool! would you do a top 10 Meshuggah or Staind riffs?
LyncheRL - Definitely want staind. They always get disrespected but Mike Mushok is pretty good
@@triad5766 I agree! Staind get incessant hate because of their dry lyrics and basic power chord riffs but I don't know man, there are a ton of neat riffs off of Chapter V and Dysfunction that I really like..
I don't know yet. Anyway what's your top 10 Meshuggah and Staind riffs? Really curious
VERMILION
Mine are
Throw It All Away
Open Your Eyes
King of All Excuses
Eyes Wide Open
Fill Me Up (especially Fill Me Up)
Suffer
Can’t Believe
Intro (from 14 Shades of Grey - there’s a calm riff that plays through the whole thing and it’s really neat.)
Mudshuvel (opening riff, Tormented Version)
Crawl
Tolerate (opening riff)
See Thru
Question?
Nameless
Self-Destruct (great intro)
Paper Wings
Maybe add a guitar solo from them in there somewhere 😉
Love your videos man!
What about Lateralus?!
One of the best guitarists alive today imo. But the rest of the band are artists as well, not just musicians.
I totally agree
I would say that Maynard and Danny Carey are probably the most talented from Tool, but the tone that Adam is able to get from his setup is absolute magic to me and the way that Justin is able to replicate his tone on bass is probably even harder
