Special Block Morning Session: • Special Block Morning ...
Special Block Evening Session: • Special Block Evening ...
I think I’ve watched the morning and evening videos 3/4 times each now so this is an absolute treat!
Coach Renato is a wise man.
Love all the Canova content! Appreciated 👍 👌🔥🏃♂️❤️

Thanks fot this
Thank you very much
Best coach
Beautiful 🤝🤝🤝
sweat elite your job it's incredible all the best for your channel i wish it from ARGENTINA very soon i will run as in your videos training hard
So from what Coach Canova is trying to say:
10km in around 32-31'30ish (This is not a race, maintain pace)
Then 5min jog easy and go into 8km (Downhill?)
In the afternoon:
10km to the track at same pace as above
and then do 10 set intervals at 68 per lap. The goal is 1200 x 10, but more importantly he wants them to maintain strictly 68 per lap. They should not think about completing 1200m, but maintaining 68 sec, so if they drop out soon that is ok as long as they maintain 68 (Fine if they run 600m, 800m, or 1000m, as long as they maintain 68).
I think this is the gist of the workout? Correct me if I'm wrong!
That’s what I understand as well.
I think if you can’t maintain 68sec/lap you drop down to next distance and complete the remaining reps. He describes it as “when you are no more able, out!”.
Not sure about rest periods.
So 10+8+10+12 is max distance for the day 40km… I thought one of them said 50-55km 😮 either way, great vid!
From india🇮🇳 🙏👍
Love the observation from Renato: “Ahhhhh the lazy guy, because he’s French you know?”
Trust the Italian to make a French joke….😂😂
Amanal, Germany loves you.

🙋🏻♂️🇧🇷👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
anybody any idea at all what the entire workouts where for the day?
I would like to join u people congratulations
5:36 first time ive seen someone use flyknit racers for running
before super shoes i used them for road mile races and track sessions. they're fast but they beat your legs like no other shoe.
2:13 theyre running with flyknit racers?!
There is one Indian guy there kindly interview him.
Is what he refers to as special block training same/similar to crash training ?
I'd say it differs. To my understanding, "crash training" is a massive hike to generate a peak. It carries great risk for the reward. This special block is highly structured, essentially it has strategy. Essentially over the course of four individual efforts (inc reps as one big effort) the athletes are running a marathon.
Athletes are being pulled, which is wise coaching and it appears only the top marathoner completed all kms and the specific pace protocol by the end. This block has obvious race day translations too given volume snd pace ending at the the end of the workout.
To be fair it's brutal training and if a world renowned coach was not overseeing this and with the support crew present you could be forgiven for thinking "crash!" Be interested to know injury count (if any) following days like these?
Inspirational. Great video. Thanks!
Not sure I really understand what is meant by "special block" training session. Anyone out there, please explain it to me.
two "workouts" in one day
It took 5months to edit the video! LOL
Like all videos on the channel, it was available to our members for some time before being public.
