Plus they don't have such detailed accounts on how it will be like in that time and so to hear something so profound, so detailed and logical it will touch your heart, I think he's trying is hardest not to take it in but deep down he's listening. I got shivers down my spine hearing some of the things the sheikh said.

Narrated Al-Ma'rur:
At Ar-Rabadha I met Abu Dhar who was wearing a cloak, and his slave, too, was wearing a similar one. I asked about the reason for it. He replied, "I abused a person by calling his mother with bad names." The Prophet said to me, 'O Abu Dhar! Did you abuse him by calling his mother with bad names You still have some characteristics of ignorance. Your slaves are your brothers and Allah has put them under your command. So whoever has a brother under his command should feed him of what he eats and dress him of what he wears. Do not ask them (slaves) to do things beyond their capacity (power) and if you do so, then help them.' "

The truth has no master and everyone can be right or wrong, which doesn't mean that I can not be right and all humanity past and present can not be wrong. I'm not sure what are trying to say here, but in case you mean that he or any other practicing jew or Christian does not have to revert to Islam because he is following Musa's law then you should know that the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"By the One in whose Hand is my soul, even if Mūsā (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was alive, he would have no choice but to follow me.”
And Allah subhanah said:
“And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.” (3:85)

Carry significant meanings like: Ponder, give thanks, Reflect, Signs. Then you find orders from Allah to his messenger Muhammad "pbuh" to convey Allah's message to Humanity.
Thought for reflection. People are ignorant of the following fact.
All humans since the message of Islam is sent to Prophet Muhammad through Arch-Anjil Gabriel onward. In the style of Quran. Do not have any recognized Deity to worship except Allah and the only messenger accepted for all of them till this day and generation, is Muhammad "pbuh"
That means, no Jesus, no Moses "pb ont hem all".
And there are no Bhagwan nor Idols, and no one else.
So weather you like it or not, this is the only facts. All Previous Messengers from Allah, their time has ended, by the late and final Messenger of Islam. Now please Read the following verses of Quran and Ponder on the messages in them.
Had We sent down this Qur’an upon a mountain, you would have then surely seen it bowed down, blown to bits by the fear of Allah; and We illustrate such examples for people, for them to ponder. [59:21]
It is Allah, except Whom there is no God; the Knowing of all - the hidden and the evident; He only is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. [59:22]
It is Allah, except Whom there is no God; the King, the Pure, the Giver of Peace, the Bestower of Safety, the Protector, the Most Honourable, the Compeller, the Proud; Purity is to Allah from all what they ascribe as partners (to Him)! [59:23]
It is Allah only, who is the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer of all - His only are all the good names; all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth proclaims His Purity; and He only is the Most Honorable, the Wise. [59:24]
It is Allah Who has subjected the sea for you so that ships may sail upon it by His command, and for you to seek His munificence, and so that you may give thanks. [45:12]
And has subjected for you all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth, by His command; indeed, in this are signs for people who ponder. [45:13]
It is Allah Who gives death* to living beings at the time of their demise, and to those who do not die, during their sleep; so He restrains the soul on which the decree of death has been passed, and leaves the other till the appointed term; indeed, in this are signs for people who reflect. (*Death is of 2 types - passing to the next world and sleeping.) [39:42]
What! Have they chosen intercessors against Allah? Proclaim, “What! Even if they do not own anything nor have any intelligence?” [39:43]
Proclaim, “To Allah only* belongs all the intercession! For Him only is the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and then it is towards you have to return.” (*Allah does not intercede - He gives the permission to intercede with Him, to whomever He wills.) [39:44]
And when Allah the One God is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter get constricted; and when others (false deities) besides Him are mentioned, they rejoice! [39:45]
Invoke (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him), “O Allah! The Creator of the heavens and the earth, the All Knowing of all the hidden and the open, You will judge between Your bondmen, regarding the matters in which they differed.” [39:46]
And if the unjust owned all that is in the earth, and another one in addition to it, they would surely give it in exchange for freedom from the wretched punishment on the Day of Resurrection; and a matter which they had never imagined, appeared to them from their Lord. [39:47]
Allah initiates the creation, then will create it again - then it is to Him that you will return. [30:11]
And on the Last Day- when it is established, the guilty* will lose all hope. (* The disbelievers.) [30:12]
And the partners they ascribed will not be their intercessors - and they will deny their partners. [30:13]
And on the Last Day - that day they will all separate. [30:14]
So those who believed and did good deeds - they will be hosted in the Garden. [30:15]
And those who disbelieved, and denied Our signs and confronting the Hereafter - they will be hauled into the punishment. [30:16]
So proclaim the Purity of Allah when you witness the night and the morning. [30:17]
And only His is the praise in the heavens and the earth - and before the day ends and at noon. [30:18]
He brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living, and He revives the earth after its death; and this how you will be raised. [30:19]
And among His signs is that He created you from dust, and therefore you are human beings spread in the earth. [30:20]
And among His signs is that He created spouses for you from yourselves for you to gain rest from them, and kept love and mercy between yourselves; indeed in this are signs for the people who ponder. [30:21]
And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the differences in your languages and colours; indeed, in this are signs for people who know. [30:22]
And among His signs is your sleeping during the night and day, and your seeking His munificence; indeed, in this are signs for people who heed. [30:23]
And among His signs is that He shows you the lightning, instilling fear and hope, and sends down water from the sky, so revives the earth after its death; indeed, in this are signs for people of intellect. [30:24]
And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth remain established by His command; then when He calls you - from the earth - you will thereupon emerge. [30:25]
And to Him only belong all those who are in the heavens and the earth; all are submissive to Him. [30:26]
And it is He Who initiates the creation, and will then create it again - and this, according to you, should be easier for Him! And for Him only is the Supreme Majesty in the heavens and the earth; and only He is the Almighty, the Wise. [30:27]
He illustrates an example for you from your own selves; do you have for yourselves, among the bondmen you possess, partners in the sustenance We have bestowed upon you, thereby you become equal in respect of it - you fearing them the way you fear each other? This is how We illustrate detailed signs for the people of intellect. [30:28]
Rather the unjust followed their own desires, without knowledge; so who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And they do not have supporters. [30:29]
Therefore, set your attention for obeying Allah, devoted solely to Him; the foundation set by Allah, upon which He created man; do not change what Allah has created; this is the proper religion - but most people do not know. [30:30]
Inclining towards Him - and fear Him, and keep the prayer established, and never be of the polytheists. [30:31]
Those who broke their religion into several parts and became different groups; every group is happy with what it has. [30:32]
And when some affliction reaches men, they pray to their Lord inclining towards Him - and when He gives them a taste of His mercy, thereupon a group among them begins setting up partners to their Lord! [30:33]
In order to be ungrateful for Our bestowal; “Therefore enjoy”; you will soon come to know. [30:34]
Or have We sent down to them any proof, which therefore tells them of My partners? [30:35]
And when We give people the taste of mercy, they rejoice at it; and if an ill fortune reaches them because of what their hands have sent ahead - thereupon they lose hope! [30:36]
And did they not see that Allah eases the sustenance for whomever He wills and restricts it for whomever He wills? Indeed, in this are signs for people who believe. [30:37]
Therefore, give the relative his right, and to the needy, and to the traveler; this is better for those who seek the pleasure of Allah; and it is they who are the successful. [30:38]
And that which you give upon usury, in order that it may increase the creditors’ property, will not increase before Allah; and the charity you give seeking the pleasure of Allah - only that will increase manifold. [30:39]
It is Allah Who created you and then provided you sustenance, then will cause you to die, and will then give you life again; is there any among your ascribed partners that can do any of these things? Purity and Supremacy are to Him, above their ascribing of partners (to Him)! [30:40]
Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]. [30:41]
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah]. [30:42]
So direct your face toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided. [30:43]
Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness - they are for themselves preparing, [30:44]
That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers. [30:45]
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful. [30:46]
And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidence; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers. [30:47]

According to atheists, nothing. According to religious people, your soul will either go to heaven or hell. This FEAR of punishment is why people cannot leave religion. It's called compulsion and it's found in islam and christianity.......even though the quran is lying when it says there is no compulsion in religion.
You and everything inanimate or animate submit to the laws of the universe whether you like it or not. Allah gave you life and Allah will take your life and resurrect you on the Day of Judgement whether you like it or not. While you have life in this world Allah has given you the choice to seek Him and follow his guidance, you can choose to disbelieve of Him or willingly submit to him. You can be grateful to Him or ungrateful your choice. Everyone will taste death whether you like it or not.

There is no compulsion in religion, meaning no one can force you to believe. Someone could force you to do an action of belief like, prayer, fasting , etc... and they would be wrong to force you. It's in your own heart and mind if you are doing any action from a true belief in Allah, or just for people to see.

There's no Heaven or eternal Life in the Jewish scriptures. The Law and the Commandments did not promise Heaven in the Jewish scriptures. There's no where is it stated. When people like David, Samuel etc died, they went to Sheol a placeneither Heaven nor Hell, a olsce in between.

Furthermore, part of every confession is to pledge, with God's grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. In other words, by going to confession a person commits to avoiding the evil he/she just confessed and to also avoid even the near occasion of that evil.
As a practical matter, people fail in various ways every day. However, through an ongoing process of prayer and confession, hopefully including the First Saturday approach, the person will be able to grind away at his/her sinfulness. Progress at the rate of even 1%/day results in 97.5% overall progress each year. Blessings and good will.
