Not sure about a late first rounder for baker. While we are rebuilding it helps out the new crop coming through but we realistically won’t be seeing a grand final in his career, he’s 26…27 before season 2025 kicks off. Whilst English would be great he comes with way too high a price tag and we could potentially end up with the 2024 version and not the AA. Really don’t want to get stuck in another Tim Kelly type trade where we give up way too much
Saints should trade their future 1st for 2 of Freo's first rounders this year. Fast track their rebuild and give Freo 2 first rounders next year for Warner.

Honestly, why would anyone want to leave the Swans? They are still very young. They all enjoy a lifestyle that other states can not offer and finally, are playing a brand of football that could lead to multiple Premierships.

For Yeo its talk of two years plus option of one year. But club promoting it as three years apparently. With Barrass I've heard that he's not that happy with the $ value of his contract and been trying to pressure the Eagles to renegotiate his contract so the value of the contract per year is more.

Totally overrated high draft pick. It seems to happen with big forwards. Riley Thilthorp from the same draft also hasn’t come on in 4 seasons. Swans would be better to play another small forward and drop McDonald, who I could never see standing up in the finals. Amartey and McLean are flakey enough. Ladhams and Hamling should be played ahead of McDonald if Horse can finally bring himself to drop him …

The non interest in Tim English makes sense for a club, he's high risk in a sense from the extensive history of head knocks. Obviously I hope Tim's never in that situation but clubs will assess a players Head knock history when making contract decisions especially length of contract.

On Zurhaar I can understand why he might leave as he wants to play & win finals. Aside from coming from W.A I dont see why he’d head back to play for Eagles, Freo possibility but they havent done anything in the last few years that inspire confidence just yet

@@gwilkes5325 prior to todays win against Sydney (which was a great win) they hadn’t beaten a top 8 side in 2024 & form the past few years has been flaky. Since 2019 they’ve won an elimination final in 2022 & missed the finals entirely the following year.
