Thanks for doing this video! I would have never figured out how to load this old, antique Bostitch T5 stapler - it's gotta be 50 years old, or older, I would say.

RIGHT! Thanks so much for giving the down-low on the staple chaos - I assumed wrongly. And I think I like my lightweight Stanley TR45 now and will get some staples rather than replacing it with a T50 for which I have a few boxes.
I just got an all black Bostich T-5 at goodwill for $3 and I'm never gunna get rid of it. I love unique things if it wasn't for your video I wouldn't know how to load it. thank you!
I’ve been looking for staples for my two T5’s. It seems that there are two or three different models, T5-6, T5-8, T5. Your T5 is labeled "STCR 5019, 06174.” It makes sense that 5019 staples would work. And when I google around, I’ve found that 5019 is associated with a T5-8. Do you know if yours is T5-8? I think mine is a 5T-6 because staple 2619 is associated with T5-6. My other T5 is labeled “0674, Core 8.” Any guess on what type of staples I should use with it?
What is the model # of the staples you use for the Bostitch T-11 Tack-ler please? I cannot find replacement staples anywhere in the US. Bostitch has recommended several other staples that would fit only to find out they are too wide! I am hoping you can help. Thank you.
I doubt you’ll find them in the US. Model #’s are SP6DK (6mm staple length) and SP8DK (8mm staple length). The crown is 9.8mm width. The staples I found don’t reflect the K designator, however the website states they fit the Bostitch T11.
I have a swingline Powergun 1000 that I bought in the early 80s and worked fine till I ran out of staples, here in Australia it is very hard to find 1/2" wide staples these days all I find is 12mm wide and they won't fit.
Yes an additional a Swingline like to use their own special sizes on some of their staplers but you can order some online that would be the best recommendation
