Pro-Palestinian demonstrations erupted in cities around the world on Wednesday as Israel continued to bombard Gaza.
Protesters chanted anti-Israel and anti-US slogans and carried placards and Palestinian flags.
The demonstrations came as rage over Tuesday night’s blast at al-Ahli Hospital spread across the Middle East, and just as US President Joe Biden began his visit to Israel in hopes of preventing a wider conflict in the region.
The war started when Hamas militants rampaged across communities in southern Israel on Oct. 7.
There were conflicting claims of who was responsible for the explosion.
Islamic Jihad dismissed that claim.
