Eminem is a huuge comic book fan. This type of humor is him with his guard down, and around friends/family out of the public eye. Real World started out good, but it fell off badly. It basically started reality tv. I used to be able to name off every city it took place in, in order haha. Kris Kirkpatrick was the only one who spoke out back at Eminem after the first round of disses Eminem gave out. Thats why he was singled out.

Yeah, this is very different from 2016+ Eminem. The stuff from his early albums have a much more humorous vibe. Look at songs like "The Real Slim Shady," "My Band," etc. It wasn't until Recovery that he got a lot more serious (e.g., "Not Afraid").
That being said, this song still has BARS!
