Stuart Smith really earned his spot with his solo here. Adding those pinch harmonics at really key times and adding a few more bends here and there to really make it his own. He’s no Don Felder, but who is other than the man himself.

I finally got to see the Eagles live two weeks ago in Houston. No Glen Frey and Don Henley has aged, but this is still epic. It's so awesome to see Australians loving this song.

Eh si ... riproduce certe arie in modo perfetto. Quando ho acquistato il dvd di questo concerto e l'ho sentito per la prima volta (nel 2007) ho pianto come un bambino (di 46 anni). Ancora oggi, a 63, mi viene un gran magone. E provo un gran dispiacere per i giovani che ascoltano l'immondizia di oggi (compresi i miei figli, talora, purtroppo).

Guarda.. io sono un integralista dei miei tempi. Odio i social e tutte le loro conseguenze. Ma ringrazio il cielo della possibilità che mi da internet di recuperare in mille sfumature la musica che amavo.

Very cool trumpet intro by Bill Armstrong - sounds like something Chuck Mangione or Maynard Ferguson or even Herb Alpert might have done. What puzzles me is that except for the intro the brass section behind the band on risers, although plainly visible (Pause circa 5:56, you'll see them.), is not audible in the mix. Would like to hear that...
