Great job on the dr200 looks awesome! Are you going to make a follow up video with a review of the nibbi carb you installed? Is it worth buying or have you had any issues with it?
Dude just purchased a 2003 dr200se. After ordering a carburetor from ebay for 50 bucks and it was leaking out of the float bowl over flow right out of the box I decided to buy this nibbi from this video. The nibbi carburetor pissed fuel all over. I took the bowl off and the floats wouldn't even shut the fuel from coming out with me holding them all the way up. Poor quality crap that I'm shipping back to Amazon. Good video though.
i bought a grom clone instead of this, and am amazed at the after market. engine swaps, tons of parts that fit groms works on it with little fitting, i had planned to get a zs 212cc for it, but have since went full yx 140 top end with a z40 cam, nibbi 26 carb,, an exhaust for the grom, i have about 2300 bucks total in my bike and it runs amazing , topping out at almost 70 , i love these little bikes. its too bad there isnt more performance aftermarket for this bike, beyond exhaust , carb and jetting upgrades . i really wanted one for a minute, i seen there are some cam and head swaps for these, but nothing that is a significant upgrade. i have no doubt these are great bikes tho , just if you want to tinker and do mods, it doesn't seem like there is much available. im saving for a 19hp zs212 for my clone, and at sea level with some tuning many have got 20 hp out of it, and this is on a much lighter bike, granted i have no interest going off road or using it as a dual sport. i have no doubt this bike is superior in every way if you want a bike for that purpose though . this is probly the perfect motorcycle if you want a ds , and have no intrests in modding it.
Hey man, I saw somewhere you could slide CRF 150R fork springs in that bad boy. Also heard that maybe DR650 rear shock would fit too, making the bike a little more firm, nah mean?
Thanks! I’ll also have an updated video out soon on my final jetting and some tweaks on the nibbi carb. So be sure to look for that if you do buy the nibbi
@@Caustic225 Thanks ill be waiting to see it.I have a old 2003 Dr its funny how they have not changed much...Its hard to find after market parts so your videos are very informative. .. im looking for some more street friendly tire but have not had much luck keep up the good work.
Thanks, but yeah besides the look it hasn’t changed very much so most newer parts probably fit the older models also. As far as tires go, look into the Shinko 244s or 705s those might be more of what your looking for. Pretty good prices on them also.
@@Caustic225 I have alot of fun on my little bike I have rejetted it and shimmed the carb and that gave it a lot more pep my buddy has a crf250 and on the street I can keep up with him. How much did that exhaust set you back?
I know you've probably already sorted the air box fitment issue but - if you have some room to play with, and you should, disassembly the carb and get a machine shop to mill down the airbox mouth a few mm. As it's tapered, it'll fit with some squeezing.
I tried two of these carbs and they both overflowed as soon as they had gas in them, IDK why, I hooked them up the same as the OME carb. the 32mm fit better then the 30mm, But its a very tight fi to the airbox. great series though!

Well seeing how well this worked for you I may try the 26mm one for my mod 50 with 108 stroker(wish they had a 24mm though in the pwk style). I saw these but not many good thorough reviews. May try the same one on my 200 as well later.
I’m definitely not disappointed in the quality of the NIBBI carb. Seems to be working great so far but unfortunately I believe the smallest PWK they make is the 28mm. I’ve seen a few videos of people putting the smaller carbs on their pit bikes with good results.
Honest question for an honest answer - I have a DR200S I take out on less travelled goat roads and use it to flat tract at practice days as well.
