Molly is still not keen on the kittens. We've managed to get them all in the bedroom together but Molly is constantly hissing and growling. We keep the kittens in there for a while but keep them away from Molly then we take them out after about 15 minutes so Molly can have a break. Molly seems better with them when they are together, if we have the kittens in the living room and Molly is outside and can see them through the perspex plastic then she starts charging at it and hissing. I'm sure she will take to them but it's going to take a while I think :-)

Well that's progress (it might not feel like it) but at least she's with them for 15 minutes at a time, where she wasn't having it before.

Yeah it is some progress with Molly. The kittens keep trying to get to her, they're constantly looking at her and wanting to jump on the chair with her. We're not sure whether to just let it happen one of the days and see how Molly reacts.

It does deliver a really good looking image. That auto focus is an absolute nightmare though so that would definitely need to be disabled :)

Hello there :) I hope you're well.
I think it may be because for this video I have my lights facing towards the wall and wardrobe rather than pointing directly at the webcam where I imagine the webcam's automatic settings would kick in to try and change the white balance etc to try and even things out and most likely make things worse.
@Andyhhhdx I'm very well, thank you! I am not tech savvy when it comes to the razer kilo cam. I do what is suggested and try to make mu own tweets. And my background with the light are still blurry. So. #I don't know. Lol
what a thorough review, you don't leave anything out, the audio is pretty decent, compared to some you have tested over time!
i had thought it would be interesting to live stream, although i also do a lot of zooms, for that i use headphones with a mic. but i would not want that set up with streaming. i guess webcams are only good for visuals, cos the mic on them can make my voice sound pretty crappy! or maybe its just my voice!!!
so would you recommend an external mic source? my logi c922 is what i use, but not sure the audio is great - well its not when i am zoomin! i might have to have some rethinks of this!

The audio is actually really good on this webcam, it's one of the best ones we've tested.
I would always recommend an external microphone rather than using the inbuilt one on a webcam. They sound much better, plus you can get a microphone close to your mouth for better clarity, whereas there's some distance between yourself and a webcam which means that if it's picking your voice up, then chances are it's picking up the noise of the environment too. I always find that the closer to your mouth you can get a microphone, the better.
There's some really good budget microphones out now. I've been showing the Fduce SL168 on our Amazon Live streams which for the price sounds great. They're currently £16 on Amazon.

@@Andyhhhdx I've got a laptop that was gifted to me after recovering data for one of my nieces, but it's not that often that I even switch it on. (It's a rather low end laptop with very limited HDD storage and only 4 GB RAM, after I'd upgraded from the 2 GB that it came with, but I've installed Windows 10 on it ... when Microsoft were offering the FREE upgrade from earlier OSs, but it runs so slowly.) ;-)

Thank you as always Gina. Molly tends to make an appearance on most of the videos at the moment. Mainly because the kittens are still in the living room and Molly stays in the bedroom with us and that's where we film most of the stuff.
She regularly makes an appearance on the Amazon live streams too by wandering across the desk, or sleeping on the chair in the background :)
