- The Wadi Dawan Valley is one of the most unique places I've visited!! The people were all so nice, the sites were interesting and engaging, and the views from the top rival that of the Grand Canyon! I feel very lucky to be able to visit here :)

First of all, I’m so happy you enjoyed yourself in Yemen. Second, I’m so jealous lol. Being born in California and having a family in the states, makes it so hard to get back home. It’s been an agonizing 22 years since I’ve been back. I yearn for home everyday. Inshallah one day I’ll be back home and we would love to have you in our home in Sanaa.

Those exchange rates are high for September 2022. 1 US dollar should be about 1,000 Yemeni Riyal in the south where u are.
Can I ask you why did you say 800 rayals is 3 dollars, did they tell you that because they cheated you in North yemen 800 riyal is less then an dollar
That was the exchange rate in Sept 2022 where I was at. I did not go to North Yemen, so I cannot comment on whether or not I got cheated?

Actually the exchange price deffrint from south and north Yemen which captured by houtis you aren't got scammed
When is this video because if it's in May 2022 in hadrmout 100 us dollars = to 120 thousand rayals
I was there in September of this year. In one of my videos I had to correct myself as to when Sana'a was doing international flights again, which was May. Thanks for sharing the exchange rate in North Yemen, I'll keep that in mind when I go back there!
