This video is about Spider-Man: The Video Game All Bosses No Damage. Spider-Man: The Video Game released by Sega in 1991. It was a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up game where players could control Spider-Man, along with other Marvel characters like Black Cat, Hawkeye, and Namor, to defeat villains and rescue Mary Jane Watson from the clutches of Doctor Octopus. The game features cooperative gameplay, allowing up to four players to join forces and play together, controlling different characters to combat evil.

I used to play this at the Golden Dome arcade in Greenbelt Maryland back in the day when I was running low on quarters...it was 25¢ to play...Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat were both 50¢...

he looks like his back hurts too lol. I also love how the art style int his game made everyone have much longer legs than usual.
They made a huge mistake not releasing this game to home consoles it also was 4 players on the acrade version this would be fun game for a birthday party
Maximum Carnage was released on SNES and was much better than this one

Yeah I’ve always felt the same way. Why not Prowler or his actual in continuity friend Human Torch? They make more sense than Clint and Fishscales.
Spidey has teamed up with both Hawkeye and Namor previously. But yeah, their appearances here are random. I could see Daredevil being a more appropriate choice since DD and Spidey are friends

@@rockfresh5359 I agree, the fighting games are great but the price is wrong and not even enough content per cabinet for the asking price, like if all the marvel games were in 1 arcade cabinet I could see it being worth maybe $200, luckily most of the arcade 1ups games are on separate compilations like tmnt for $40 vs the $400 arcade with only 2 games.

Surprised this is even possible. Arcade games like this are pretty well known for either increasing the difficulty the longer you go withoud dying or just randomly dropping unavoidable bull crap to force you ro re-up more quarters. Also, Doom is the monarch of Latveria. Did...did Spider-Man just overthrow a government?

I adore this game, but it's so weird. What are the Hellfire Club doing here? Has Spidey ever fought them before?? Why is Spider-man teaming with Sub-Mariner and Hawkeye of all people? Why can Sub-Mariner suddenly fire short little electric bolts? I've NEVER seen him do that anywhere else! Why does Venom sound like such a doofus? Which Green Goblin is Spider-man supposed to be fighting? Norman Osborn and Bart Hamilton were both dead at this time, and Harry hadn't yet become villainous.
If I were going to make a new list of characters for the players it'd be:
Spider-man (of course)
Black Cat
Daredevil (one of Spidey's best friends)
And either Silver Sable (good friend of Spidey's) or Captain America (maybe not a best friend, but he and Spidey have teamed up countless times before and he's got more name recognition than Hawkeye or Sub-Mariner in these days. I wouldn't put any flyers like the Human Torch or "heavy hitters" like Thor or the Hulk in, because they'd make too many plot holes.)
I remember this one used to take about $10 in quarters to beat at the arcade😏

The unfortunately easy and repetitive "Friend or Foe" had the most No. 1 idea, where you get a roster of playable heroes, antiheroes and villains. This arcade game also needed it, because all I see is a clone of Turtles in Time.

Well technically, that would be Captain America. Powers wise, Thor is closer to Superman.
Hulk is kinda like Doomsday, an unstoppable killing machine.
Original Captain Marvel would be the closest to Superman. Maybe Adam Warlock and Thor are close seconds.
