She's coming right along!
Yup, the new meats are looking good👍🏼
Woo Hoo, New Sneakers For The 'Ole Gal, Hang On Now ! Thanks Kyle ATB T God Bless
Glad to see the project coming along. Good luck with that.😄
The project seems to come together. You living in a fantastic place with a view.
Lived in Deer Lake for 6yrs and dealt with Simmons Tire..............a great place to do business.
About time you got back on that old sled. 16.5s are hard to get they quit using/making them here. I’m putting rims/tires off a newer dually with 16”s. I like what you did, but over spray on the tires! Nothing like a rattle can job. I would have painted the brake/axle hubs black and did the rims in body color or used “Mexican” chrome as we call it here, glad to see your back at it! Also fire the guy who didn’t weed whack around the rig. Looking forward to next episode!
Nice to see fresh rubber brother 👌 she fired up mint as. Don't forget to line the inside valve stem up , so you can get to it from the outside 😉 sux if you're out the back and need to adjust the pressure and it's in the wrong place.
@Kyle, really fun to see you back at it w/the truck build! The project evokes fond memories of my own automotive exploits, keeping many a family vehicle properly serviced and etc. as I got my own two girls raised, kept their mother in reliable transport to work, as well as my own work car for the I/T biz. I got GOOD @carport auto mechanics!
That said, I worry about your conversion project what w/Fall & Winter probably just around the corner up where you are! Will you frame in a structure around the truck or what? I'm sure you thought it thru, just thought I'd pry a bit for the rest of us😁❗️Anyhow, keep the vids flowing, and bless ya for bringing us along!
i could watch videos on this rig all day! One suggestion is to put all led lighting and bulbs on it. You'd be surprised at the affordability and the value, considering the performance and safety they bring. I did that on my 71 Chevy truck. Kinda brings the looks around on the ol' gal as well
Absolutely! I already have a bunch of the lighting from a sponsor, and it's all LED!
Looking good
Your project is coming along well Kyle! Thanks for posting and keeping us updated with the build! Great video as usual! Take care and stay safe my friend!
Hubs and wheel look great. Amazing what a little paint will do!
I Just Started my 1972 Chevy Van 30 2 weeks or so ago (was sitting for almost 4 years), I Am planning to do the same thing!
Very interested to see how you do this!
Mine is going to be made into a "Firewood" Truck , I plan to mount a Crane / Grapple onto her also.
and of Course 35" or so Tractor Tires.. She is only a 2WD , But... Will work out fine i hope LOL!!!!
Thinking ill need to "ReGear the Rear end..." OR Old Two Speed Rear end maybe...
Very cool! Best of luck with it. A swing-out basic crane is something I have in mind for this rig as well, although not interested in the big tires! haha Too pricey, and wouldn't really help me in any ways. Have fun!
probably be a good idea to use vht paint on the brakebubs
shoulve pained the rims before replacing the tires , wouldve saved having to keep in between the lines and stuff like that
Always makes vehicle look better when you clean the wheels up I was made as a wet hen the other day took my dump truck in for an inspection and the mechanic put the inner wheels on the out side so the old grimy pitted wheel was showing. I've had that happen before but with aluminum wheels on my highway truck and made the mechanic change them or I wasn't going to sign the bill mechanic though it was funny till he had to do his job twice and only paid once
New rubber, light weight, maybe it's time for a 0-60 test?👍🌲
haha I won't push my luck just yet!
She loves it, she loves it, Trying to reassure himself haha
That truck sounds great! Never been big on loud engines but that old truck sounds just right
Classic American muscle!
Such a cool project! God bless you and your family brother! What a beautiful place you live 🙏
Thank you Stephen! Hope you're doing well buddy
A sandblaster place would have made quick work of those rusty rims and drums
Awesome! Always looking forward to these :)
She loves that project in her driveway about as much as my wife likes my big old project boat in our driveway……..not much I’ll bet😂
Haha Hmm, a boat project. I like the way that sounds. Hang in there brother. Hold strong! 😂😂
There you go AGAIN
What's that, old fella' ?
@@kyle_noseworthy kick-starting a great project AGAIN! What are you? Hard of hearing?
@@wrecksricardus4911 getting there!
If you painted the wheels before removing the old rubber you could have done so without having to worry about getting paint on the rubber. Maybe next time.
The tire changer would have spoiled the paint on the edge, which would still have left me re-painting the rim after the new rubber was on. I'm not worried about the little bit of black overspray. That'll wear off quick :-)
The Wife Acceptance Factor seems low on this project :)
Haha She's fine with it, but doesn't always like the ugly rig sitting in front of the house! haha
Lol you gotta drag a rusty vehicle home and hang dead animals in the front yard every now and then to keep them on their toes!
@@gregundahood202 Hah! That'll keep the spice, eh Greg! haha Thanks for watching brother!
Wew you know she loves it or youd not be worken on suck a wicked project.....The women always rule my bro heheheheheh
It’s not safe to listen to music or podcasts when you are working. One or the other!
