52. Journey to the Kent Coast. Cliveden House to Chiswick Pier. Dutch Barge Restoration.

This series of videos is all about the restoration and fit out of the 1904 Dutch Barge "Neeltje" and hopefully the journeys we get to make with her. We have to leave the Newbury Boat Company to travel to our new mooring on the North Kent coast at Conyer. This part of the journey takes us from Cliveden House at Cookham to The Chiswick Pier Trust. Another few days of nice cruising on the beautiful Thames, great views, fantastic houses, seen at their best only one way, by boat. Onto the tidle Thames at Teddington, we end at The Chiswick Pier Trust where we await Pilot Nathan and Engineer Pete for the trip through Old London Town.

The "posh houseboat" at 5:55 is actually Astoria which is a recording studio owned by Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour. It's a lovely thing.
