As long as Deboers can put together a defense that can stop offenses , we will be just fine. Deboers now has an offense with super stars & will score ALOT of points. Look at what he did with 2star players at Washington. Bamas going to be just fine. ROLL TIDE

Keon was hurt by the new defensive scheme. I hope losing our two dominant edge positions wont negatively impact the defense.
Is there any indication or possibility that they were merely experimenting in the spring with Keeley to see if he could adapt to the new position, with some foresight that if not, they would move him back to the edge rush position? And, is there some possibility that they are trying to make him a hybrid player between the two and give him practice time with both units? I know that quite often coaches, including Saban use the spring as an experimental period with certain athletes who are very skilled. For example, I’m almost certain there was a spring, where our Heisman Trophy winning wide receiver Devonta Smith got some spring practice in as a defensive back.
Are you guys at least a little bit aware of Domani Jackson besides last season? And I agree with your opinions about him last season and that poor defense and concepts of USC. It was/is pathetic.
I am NOT sold on Domani as a football player. NOT in the least. I am sold on his speed. Size. And athleticism. He would tear it up at the Combine. But not his instincts or physicality. Not that he absolutely lacks these characteristics. But he hasnt played very much football at all. He didnt play any football his Junior year in HS in Cali because of the China virus. He was hurt nearly his entire Senior year in 2021 and hardly played at all. He remained banged up his freshman year at USC in 2021,and hardly saw the field defensively. So he finally got his feet wet and showed some of the enormous physical talents he has last season in an embarrassing situation.
Domani is as unproven,in many ways or more,than Brown,Mincey,MBak,+ Hurley are. I have a feeling that he will have to bust through the fence to prove to us that he is anywhere near the guy most think he could be or could have been. Sure hope so. We need him desperately to be an impact player. Or at least a competent guy out there. Much as we are hoping the same thing for Deshawn Jones,who lacks the physical abilities of Jackson.

I would be willing to bet if Keone doesnt get to play this year he will be gone!! If he leaves I wouldnt hold it against him! I've been so excited about Keone since he came here as a TOP TEN recruit in the nation!!! This seems a little unfair to Keone! Maybe alot unfair!! ROLL TIDE BAMA NATION!!
