Thanks Phil for the reaction. Lucy is just more than the English language can express. How many ways can someone explain perfection. I think that people were expecting the live version of the song by Lucy, but I have always loved the studio version. Stay Free, Healthy, and Safe.
This one of Lucy is special to me because it's the song I first heard her sing about 3 years ago. I was mesmerized and have been hooked ever since. Lucy is the best of the best!
She just dropped a live version of this she performed at her first live concert in Manchester it's juat as epic as this version but you should check her live version out.
Thanks Phil - you are one of the best reactors out there!! Lucy was 16 when she dropped this. I believe the original was composed/written in 1957 by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim. Barbara Streisand released a version/cover in 1985?? which is probably the most famous/iconic version of this beautiful piece. Like your comments reflect - Lucy's version is just stunning & beautiful. Her vocal talents and delivery are just unreal/elite.
You probably already know - but this was the 1st song she sang at her 1st public concert last month in Manchester UK. She just dropped this new "live" version of same song in the last day or so and it is spectacular. Check it out when you have time!

It is interesting to compare and contrast this studio recorded version from four years ago against the recent live performance by Lucy in her first live concert in Manchester last month. I have always loved the studio version, it’s one of my favourites from Lucy. There is such depth and maturity and emotion in this performance. But then to step out on stage in her first live professional concert and match this performance in a live setting would be no easy feat and the nerves would be jangling as she stepped out in front of her audience that night. We needn’t have worried. Lucy warmed to the task and knocked it out of the park. You really must check out the live performance of Somewhere by Lucy. Thank you for your support and for your most thoughtful and considered comments. Great job.

Lucy has just released the first song from her recent first major concert in Manchester & this was that song!,any doubts that Lucy can't deliver live are now banished!,she looked stunning & sounded amazing,she is a superstar in the making!😊💖🌟

Hi Phil. As many have pointed out, Lucy has released a live perfomance of "Somewhere" and it's also breathtaking, but after checking that out, you should also take a look at her rendition of another Barbra classic "Evergreen", in my humble opinion one of Lucy's technical best, performed to perfection.
