- These three mindsets have greatly helped me when it comes to decluttering and minimizing the items in my mind.
I also share a few questions to ponder as well as tips I’ve found incredibly helpful when cultivating a more peaceful environment in my home.

I know what it feels like to look at a messy space and ask myself, "What do I do to get rid of this clutter because, in the natural, I think I need all this stuff?" I'm especially guilty about that with the kitchen and all the special gadgets, Lol. One woman I love to watch to inspire me is The Minimal Mom. She's a Christian wife who homeschools her four children and she has some great videos on decluttering your home and having a minimalist life. She was also inspired by Joshua Becker. Dear Sara, I've been following your channel for 1.5 years now and it's amazing how you keep posting videos that resonate exactly with what I'm working on myself at the time. Just this morning I've finally tackled a decluttering task I've long been meaning to do :)
By now, if I'm not sure whether to keep or declutter an item, I like to ask myself: can I do without it? It activates my creativity and motivates me to own less so I don't have to manage as much.

This comment made me chuckle. I never thought of that but it’s a good point to consider. 😂😂 I have a huge garden and had been out pulling weeds before I filmed. I washed my hands, but it usually takes a day or two for them to look fully clean again. 😂❤️
