- Why is it taking me so long to release new videos??? I guess there are other time-consuming priorities, but I'm still here and I am going to continue to release new videos - just not at the prolific rate as I did when I first started this CZcams channel.
Samia is a great tune by Les McCann - it's so bluesy! There's not a lot in terms of a tutorial here, but hopefully you'll pick-up a tip or two from this video.
You can find the files from this video using the links below:
PDF Notation file here: lot2learn.sellfy.store/p/sami...
Backing Tracks (created with Band-in-a-Box)
MP3 Backing Track here: lot2learn.sellfy.store/p/sami...
MIDI Backing Track with Solo: lot2learn.sellfy.store/p/sami...
I am in the process of re-vamping my website so there are 2 different sites you can visit and you can always drop me a line using the contact form on either site. There are MIDI and PDF files of my solos as well as MP3 and MIDI backing tracks I use for my videos. If you don't see one - send me a message using the contact form on my site.
The sites are here:
www.Lot2Learn.com
lot2learn.sellfy.store/
I am also giving individualized Skype lessons so drop me a line through the contact form if you are interested.
I'm thinking of doing some live-streaming - where do prefer to go for live stream content - CZcams or Facebook?
PLEASE let me know what other videos or tutorials you would like!
As always, thanks for your continued listening.

You are the pioneer of jazz piano CZcams education. Welcome back!
Thanks so much for the very nice comment!! I really appreciate it!!
The planet 🌎 made a full rotation today! Been a while. Awesome stuff L2L!
Hahaha, thanks so much AZ, hope to be back here again soon 😁
Great to see "hear" you back
Wow... Lot to learn. You haven't uploaded anything in a while. Can't wait to hear this
Thank you so much sir and welcome back Sir
Thanks so much!
Very interesting way of showing the notes - letting the viewer anticipate every bar, instead of just the 2nd bar every time!
Glad you like it!
Ya baby!
Sounds great as always
Thank you Michael!
You're one of the first channels I ever subscribed to
That's great to hear - thanks so much Stephen!
New Subscriber Here!! Nice Work On Your Channel!

Best CZcams Piano videooo, Have you seen Jack Zucker, the guitarist ?
when i saw Jesus Molina reply "maestro" when you commented one of his videos, everything connected!
Haha, yes we had some nice talks via Skype when he was just starting out in Columbia. He learned the playing on some of my videos and could play them better than I ever could. 😁. He has come a long way since when I first met him.
Great!I have just bought your pdf to learn about McCoy tyner style!
Awesome! Thank you! Don't forget to check out my Advanced Pentatonic Instructional DVD if you love McCoy style improvisation 😁
@@Lot2learn Of course I have bought that lesson:)Thank you for your great method~
Ahhhh ... finally
😁😁
Hi Roger
Nice to hear you again and nice tune. I’d learned thst about 50 years ago. But have lost less sheet now. Might you have original melody laying around you could share?
I don’t bought stuff from you a few years back but had trouble using. My tech fault I guess? We talked anc you helped as best you could, but it didn’t work for me. Love your playing and all you give. Thanks.
Bruce
Hi Bruce - nice to hear from you. I do not have a lead sheet for this. I just listened to it and learned it by listening to it.
Thank you!! Best way to learn. I will work on that bridge. I remember the A section melody. B section I can kind of hear in your improv. I will get it
Love this! I am going to try to learn it :) What is the backing track?
Thank you!! See the link in the description above for the backing track
Got a melody chart available? Learned this tune about 50 years ago. But don’t have original lead lead sheet anymore. If you have or know where I might find I would appreciate thank you
