We waited for Sam's segment every weekday morning, he brightened up our morning. If he was on assignment, we missed him and looked forward to his return. I enjoyed his banter with the morning anchors- funny, witty, a bit irreverant, yet always so respectful. My heart goes out to his family and all who knew and loved him. We have truly lost a special and wonderful person.
