Today, we’re flying from our home in BGC to the island paradise of Coron in the province of Palawan. We’re recreating our family’s first Philippine adventure outside of Manila almost two years ago, but with one major twist: this time our oldest daughter Reagan and her boyfriend Mason have finally flown from the US to experience this beautiful country for the first time. We’re gonna get beneath the surface to show these American teens just why we fell in love with the Philippines - and for the next 4 nights, we’re doing it on, around, and below the world-famous Paolyn Houseboats.

The jellyfish is called cassiopea jellyfish. An upside down jellyfish . They do that to catch food like some of the corals do. It is also to catch sunlight to recharge their energy source.

I'm back, 5:15 pm Pacific Coast time - I was looking for something - don't remember what, but started looking in the cabinet under the down stairs CR room.
I have a throw away bed pad down and something had spilled so I decided to take everything out and replace the cloth. While there, I had access to the drain pipe.
Sink had been draining slow - SO - I got the P-trap off, cleaned it out and then tried to put it back together. Now remember that I am 81, trying to bend down, stick my
head under the sink, hold a light, and reconnect the stupid pipe. So 45 min. later, it decided to co-operate and tighten up, and it didn't leak. That is a WIN.
WIN 🏆 Good for you. It’s so helpful to be handy. I feel like Phil is the same way. He can fix pretty much anything 😊

Wow, this family is so lucky. Because of poverty, most Filipinos die without even having the opportunity to travel and enjoy their own country. Travel for Filipinos is a luxury and only a few fortunate ones can get to experience it. Most of us (especially those who were born and raised in the cities) don't even know how to swim.
We do hear a lot of similar stories in our comments, expressing gratitude for getting to see these places via our videos since they don’t visit them in person. We snorkled all the way around the island where shipwreck is and it is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef and giant clams. Our tour guide offered to and we decided to go, but it was an hour of swimming. He said most people say no they don't want to do it.
Don't miss the beach tour it's beautiful. I would also recommend going to the area of coral garden. There is a shipwreck there w/a lot of fish and the beautiful pass island and black island it's stunning.
This is not only an entertaining blog but very informational as well. It’s like we are actually there watching you guys. We see an aspect of the Philippines that we haven’t seen. Looking forward to our own trip there.
