I'm wondering why you don't clean the compact around the products... it would be like leaving mud on my shoes or wrinkles in my shirt.. I clean mine (I have 3 of the ones you've shown) every so often. It makes me appreciate the how pretty they are. Anyway, enjoying your videos! Thanks for sharing!
I agree totally, as someone who has worked in prestige beauty for over 30 years this is my first thought! You are presenting luxury cosmetics to show/review, showing them not maintained and cleaned takes away from the presentation. Take a minute and wipe them down. Anyway, I have several that you presented and Chanel quality is amazing!
I still use Metal Peach as my everyday "office" hilighter. Basic in a good way.
Great collection Chanel has beautiful highlighters I own a few and I love them. They don’t emphasize texture and give a nice shine 💕

I love the Eclat du Desert. I use it as a setting powder to give me a luminous finish but I know I can't be heavy handed or I would look like a walking lighthouse.
I am really glad for my pocket Chanel has been releasing deeper highlighter shades. I won't be able to use them although they are really beautiful to look at.
The Lion de Chanel does not have the usual flat pan. It has like a net like structure. Perhaps it is lighter but there is plenty of volume :)
Oh yes, there is still plenty of product inside! It's just surprising to see the differences in the amounts of product. Unless you go through it all though, I guess it doesn't really matter all that much :) xx

I have White Opal and Metal Peache. I still use them both. First for rosy looks, second when I don't know what highlighter to use. It's very versatile.

I have the desert highlighter and I’ve hit pan. I haven’t hit pan on any other brand, which kind of shocks me, lol.
Because the texture is so soft
I’ve hit pan on the Tweed beige blush, & I don’t use it too often. Their regular blush is nearly impossible to hit pan on
pro trick: watch series on Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.

Lovely collection!! 😍❤️❤️ The ones that holds a special place in my heart is the Camelia De Plumes highlighter by Chanel. It was my first Chanel highlighter purchase. I have a brand new one that has become a collector’s piece for me. I had one to use and I adored it. My husband bought me one as a surprise but I had already purchased one for myself. My current favorite is the Fleur De Printemps duo! 🥰🥰

I always enjoy your content and appreciate your thoughtful approach/criteria for making purchases. Keep up the great work!
My oldest piece must be the Lucky Stripes compact, which Chanel dedicated to Las Vegas, and it is sort of a face palette, but I think it was the first highlighter, a beautiful limited edition piece.
I remember your videos when you said plissée lumiere was your favorite highlighter at the time- and it looked beautiful, too!
My favorites must be the Metal Peach and I just love the Golden lion for holidays, it’s so festive and beautiful. I have the white lion in a red compact but never use it. The Desert Dream is pretty unique; I wear it as a blush or blush topper with a pale pink blush. And due to its texture it uses up quicker, somewhat like the tweed blushes, whereas other highlighters will probably last a lifetime 🙃
Also the highlighter in the darker bronzer duo is simply gorgeous, I used to use it all the time at some point

I love the new 2021 Fleurs de Printemps duo. I bought it when you first showed it. . The blush side is very similar to Chanel Malice blush in color. Except Malice goes on more sheer. The highlight is amazing!! Thanks for going over all of the highlighters. It is so helpful to see it swatched. I will get the Perles de Lumiere now that I see it.
The one you display under your vanity, Infiniment Chanel Poudre Lumiere, I did have the guts to mess it up LOL about a year after I purchased it and omg was it a beautiful pore blurring finishing powder ever. I sort of stopped using it not to mess it up further and I wish that I didn’t stop and would have used it up because it was amazing. Now it’s too old to put on the face, but still a beautiful display piece.
This was so useful, quite often stores will offer older pieces during certain sales or promotions and I never know whether to buy or not as we can’t return make up in the UK. I love the blush highlighter Les Chaines du Chanel. I wear it a lot as blush. I’m very fair and worried this would be too dark but it’s perfect. I’ll definitely be picking up the Duo de Camelias, I often look at it but seeing how gorgeous it is I have to have it.
I love your collection. I really like plisse lumiere de Chanel and my favorite is les beiges healthy glow. I think it from 2016 and regret that couldn’t get another one to collect. I do really like the eclat du desert too.

Metal peach is the first highlighter I ever bought.
I use the Les Chains as a blush, and it works really well on me!
I also have the spring duo and so far I only used it as a blush. I go with the brush on both sides.
But, the pearls... although similar to metal peach, I may get one. I will see. Not available in UK yet.
I love les chaines as a blush. It’s quite dark on me. I also wear le blanc 2021 as a blush. It’s a perfect gold beige slightly rose.
My first one was the same as yours too and I totally remember being so excited Chanel finally had highlighters too. My favourite is the Lion one! I actually feel like it’s a really unusual colour and on my skin I don’t have anything else even similar to it and I’d say it’s actually my favourite highlighter of all time which is pretty big considering I probably own 20 to 30 of them. 😅🙈 I think you should pull it out and put it on your face again 🤩🤗 maybe I just got a really good one but I think it’s SO underrated 😍
I have the desert highlighter and love it. It got alot of mixed reviews. I remember alot of people were disappointed in how powdery it is. I also have the Infiniment Chanel, it's very sheer but so pretty on the skin! Haven't used it in awhile though. I didn't realize it was that old lol. Some others I have are the Camelia de Chanel and probably my favorite, Plisse Lumiera de Chanel. I really think I need to pick up the Poudre Lumiere in white opal. That is just stunning!!

I feel many of the chanel highlighters are most suited to lighter skin tones. I do however, own the lion de chanel highlighter, and this one looks really nice on my golden tan skin tone, it is the most golden/peach of the bunch.

Everytime I wear it, someone compliments me! Lol my very first chanel highlighter was the lion de chanel from 2018, I wish I got the red packaging lol and that highlighter is what started my Chanel beauty obsession! I'm still saving up for a chanel bag 😂 and honestly I can't pick a favourite chanel highlighter! I'm also patiently waiting for this year's spring collection to be available in Canada 😍😍😍

I’m about to hit pan on my Estée Lauder Victoria Beckham collection, Modern Mercury. I’m so sad they discontinued this before I got a back up of my holy grail highlighter. 100% the best highlight for my skin color and makeup style. Thanks for giving me ideas to help ease the pain, lol.

This Lion highlighter seems to be from the 2018 holiday collection, but the picture on the screen was not that one. The picture shows, as I remember, one from 2017 and was launched in two colors.

I cannot wear peach and I look for a perfect nude for lips, but they don't look the same on me as my lips are dark. I wear Ultra le teint in B10 and am looking for a blush and nude lip that will show up on me. Do you have any suggestions?

Great video, and as always, you look beautiful. Do you realise that in Europe, Chanel does not always produce the same cosmetics? In fact, Harrods used to have a US Chanel section, so we could get the same items as in the US. I don't know if they still do.

Erin, OMG, I have just used Coco Code compact today!!:O I can't believe you kept yours pristine!!:O :-)) I really like it, and I can tell you that I actually used it quite often. The highlighter there is very pretty, so is the blush! I even sometimes use the bronzer to put in my crease. It's just very handy for me, and I keep it on top of my vanity:-) I have one highlighter that you didn't mention - Camelia de Chanel embossed with a beautiful camelia flower. Its gorgeous and came in a special edition red compact. The shade is sort of sparkly champagne peach- very pretty. I need to get the Duo de Camelias. I have been thinking about this highlighter for a while now, and I can tell it is VERY special..and still available! :O :-) I also have Les Fleurs de Printemps on my list! So curious what's next for Chanel for summer! xx

Erin, don't feel bad about the duo white and pink pearl highlighter. I have it and it is my least favorite Chanel highlighter purchase. :-) So little pay off. I still have it and it looks like I use it a lot, I don't, you just have to dig and dig for product. :-)
