I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Thanks for pointing out the shelf life. I think brands should only make products that can reasonably be used up in the time frame they give.

I started to eye these, but I just bought both Tom Ford highlighters (on a big discount, thankfully!), and I don’t need these. The only one that would work for me would be the white one, which I don’t think I really need.

I love how this looks on you, but I just don’t want oversized stuff. I recently decluttered some oversized Chanel luminizers, that I had ordered from overseas because they weren’t coming to the US (like an insane person). I didn’t really e reach for them, hardly a dent. And just so annoying in my drawers. So I’m just gonna stay strong.

I know 😭 I'm super fair so it was the only shade that would work for me but don't want a chunky glitter bomb. Gonna stick with Haus Labs Moonstone
I'm still incredibly angry about Pearly White! I've been stalking Chanel since these were announced over the summer, only to find out that the one shade that would work on my vampire pale skintone is a glitter bomb, while the deeper shades are smooth and beautiful. All shades should have the same finish, brands need to stop this variety within the same product line!!!
Hi Charlotte! I got the Precious Coral in the CC pearls. It is stunning. I think that with this launch it would’ve been nice for Chanel to do minis. Definitely something I’d like to see them do, especially with highlighters. Thanks for your review!

I just saw this video and said out loud to myself, oh f* here we go. I talked myself out of these, it was ridiculously difficult, but opted to purchase the lip gloss holiday set instead. I know before the end of this video, I will have purchased the highlight! Hahaha!! It doesn’t take much and I know if you love it I will too….. sorry wallet 😂

I think I just missed the boat with the Camellia highlighter and need to accept it. None of the new colors will work on my light cool-toned skin, (don’t want a sparkly white) but dang, the peach looks gorgeous on you. Ty for the review!
Hi Charlotte! Beautiful demonstration! It looks gorgeous and glorious on you. I am one of those pale people you mentioned that would only be able to use it as a blush topper. In fact I use this as a glow y blush and it’s beautiful! I adore it. I also have the pearl highlighter and it’s glorious! Since it has very little pigment if any it looks wet on my face which I love. It’s not for everyone of course but for when I want to shine and sparkle a little I wear it. I also pop it on the eyes and it is stunning. I use it almost everyday because it’s that beautiful the effect. Both I’m happy to own and will continue to use in some capacity everyday when I can ❤❤

I'm vampire pale and really wanted Pearly White until I realized it's very glittery, which I don't like. I wish brands would make all shades with the same formula/finish, or at least mention the differences in the description, because had I not seen reviews before they launched in the US, I would have ended up with a glittery highlight I hated.

It’s an easy pass for me because I’m super pale and it will show a cast on me. The white is apparently super glittery, so, nah. Thankful to be saving a few dollars 😅!! The coral is gorgeous on your skin, Charlotte! ❤

Omg I've been dying for this video! I know Martina Lily reviewed them but she did it for the white highlighter (and maybe the coral one?) but your skin tone is better match for me. It reminds me of the RMS crystal slipper blush which for me is a super natural highlighter because it’s too light as a blush

I did have such a hard time picking a design 😢 it was between the flower one & the comet 😩😭 I went for the comet but now I kinda want the coral in the flower design 😮💨 crazy I know ! But I’m obsessed with highlighters & so much so I have hit pan on a few of mine & my collection is bordering on obscene ! 😂🤭 thanks so much for this video ! This is a size, a makeup artist has hands full to finish, but that's only me. This colour is made for you, looks soooo super beautiful on you, i really get it that it makes you so happy!!!! But not a CZcamsr here, and my skin is lighter than yours, on me, the Rêve de Camelia still looks good, and other, for me more subtle products. I’m of an age when I need to stay clear of highlighters , but I so enjoy watching all of your videos, but I must say I have not been able to stop looking at your nails! So beautiful but I would presume you must of been terribly upset to have broken one ! I know how devastating I feel as I absolutely love everything to do with nails . And nail varnish I think it finishes a look of . What is your routine to looking after them ? I’m in ore .😊❤

Btw what are your thoughts on why Chanel is doing these oversized highlighters? Like what is the point of it? I hear you when you say half the product for half the price but they are not doing that. So what are they doing this? like this size makes sense for a bronzer or even a blush - but why a highlighter?

I’m a die hard Chanel lover but there was not a perfect shade for my light medium skin tone in these highlighters. I wanted the pearly white but not with sparkles 😞
I’m wondering if I need this highlighter. I love a boujie product and I really like the fact that you can choose the design and shade combo but she pricey and I have So Many highlighters already.
Ever since these were announced over the summer, I've really wanted one in Pearly White - it would suit my vampire pale skintone and I've never tried Chanel highlights before because most are too dark or warm. Finally, these started showing up at retailers, I was ready to buy one...and then I saw the reviews, in which Pearly White was shown to be overtly glittery, while the other shades (that I can't wear) are smooth and beautiful 😡😡 Weeks later and I'm still bitter (obviously); I just don't understand why brands think it's ok to give different finishes to products in the same line and even worse, not mention it in the description!! Sorry, I'll climb down from my soapbox now

I wanted the pearl one in the Lion but I heard the formula is different then the darker shade it's not smooth and it's glittery basically the same color and feel of the holiday highlight release the 2 toned one .
So I'm gonna opt out of this one even though I really wanted it but I don't care for the 2 darker shades for highlight .

The pictures on Chanel website of the coral make it look very orange and dark, But in this video, the coral looks very almost like peach? Charlotte is this accurate in your experience?
I purchased the precious coral as well! I would consider it a peachy coral. Not orange! I am a true medium skin tone, so definitely a highlighter for me. But could be a blush on a fair to light skin tone!!
