- A detailed look at the Lego Batmobile that is inspired from the 1989 Tim Burton film, Batman. This set is for ages 16 and up, which means that this video is being produced for builders that are 16 and over looking to invest in and expand their own exclusive collection.

The 1989 Batmobile is built from over 3,300 pieces, measuring over 60cm long and sits on a rotating display plate. The sleek design makes this set a highly rewarding build that is perfect for displaying at home. This LEGO set includes three new-for-2019 minifigures: Batman with a new and unique cape, The Joker™, with a new face and torso decoration and Vicki Vale™ featuring a brand new torso and legs.
The 1989 Batmobile comes with a new-for-2019 wraparound windshield element and decorative grappling hooks on both sides of the vehicle. Place the Batman minifigure into the car by opening the slide-open cockpit before turning the car’s turbine exhaust to make the two machine guns hidden under the hood pop up. The Batmobile comes with detailed Bat emblems on the wheel trim and a set of specially designed tyres for the front wheels.

Inspire fans with this Star Wars Millennium Falcon. I strongly recommend after building this, you find some sort of display case for this because after you get dust on the Batmobile, the shine of the black pieces fade and then it looks sort of a matte black Batmobile with dust, I learned this the hard way after I built mine last year.

Have you tried using a small paint brush? That way you can wipe all of the remaining dust off of your set and you’ll be able to get into the smallest spaces. I’ve been doing that for over a decade and it has worked just fine for me.

It amazes me how builds have evolved through the years. The sets when I was a kid were for more basics. Nowadays, they are incredibly clever, well designed and way more interesting. Would have loved to have all of these back in 1999.
I just finished building this kit, and the overall look and details are "super cool"! The only thing cooler is this video of the build, and the animation. I don't know how much work this video took to make, but THANK YOU! By far, the ABSOLUTE BEST LEGO SPEED BUILD I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! KUDOS!!!
arguably the best batmobile design ever. Slick, dark and stealthy.
The final click noise I hear after I place the last lego piece is the sound of achievement.
For those who have watched Batman and Batman Returns:
I know it would’ve taken a lot more technological movements and a lot more pieces within this Lego Batmobile, but don’t you think it would be cool if LEGO added the Shield Function that the Batmobile has in the film (where Batman clicks a remote and the Batmobile gets completely covered in a Black Retractable Shield from the tails at the back, all over to the cockpit and the tires and the front)

As if this huge set didn’t already take long to build, you make an incredible stop motion of all the pieces coming together. You even put SFX for each new piece applied! Love the quality and care put into this video!

Have anyone noticed that this BATMOBILE has until I know the first belic lego weapon ever made? I mean those are for real two browning M2 machine guns... this batmobile is epic! Each bag show me new level of details that I didn't spect!

I love how they created the bat tail wings using bricks without using those premolded dragon wing pieces
I always hated those pieces, and how they constantly used them in most of the previous Lego batmobile sets. Mainly so they can "try" to recreate the classic bat wings from the original 89' batmobile, but never worked.
The windshield is a custom mold just for this set just found out 3 days ago

It looks cool but I can't be the only one who wish it was smaller so it would be in scale with the mini figures? As it bonus, it would be cheaper too.
404cp There is a smaller scale version matching the figs as well! In Sweden you got it as a gift if you bought the big one at Lego Store.
I remember when Lego was Lego and not just another form of building a model. Lego use to be about using your imagination to construct and not follow a guide.
Lego has just about always had a suggested build. You build it if you want. And after that, you build whatever you want. So just because there are instructions, they don't have to limit you.
The more bags came down, the lower my jaw dropped each time.
