i have already created llc in america, reason was not just about taxes, i also wanted to be able to get an bank account there, right now using pyoneer, if online business works will travel to get an original account. can you please give information on 5472 form and 1120? when we have to file it? and little details on how to? its hard to find information on that, and penalties are huge, please care to give information on that. Also do you use any particular online firms that help you manage your taxes in US ,since u have llc there? information would be highly appreciated.
      thanks in advance :)

Thanks, good video. I'd like to add a little about satisfying your government that you have legitimately left the country (specifically Australia in this case) for good. To avoid issues you will need to make sure you have removed yourself from all electoral rolls, notified medicare that you are permanently leaving the country, cancel all subscriptions, rental and lease agreements, disposed of any personal effects legitimately (not "sell" them to family or friends) rather than have them put in storage and effectively eliminate anything which may hint that you plan to return at a later point in time. The government will legally pursue you if they think you're leaving the country for a short term to dodge tax then returning at a later point in time. There was a case some time back where someone did this and maintained a leasehold on a boat mooring even though he had no boat to moor, the government took this as intent to eventually return once the tax issue had been avoided and they won the court battle and forced him to pay tax as if he had never left the country. Adding on the costs of everything he had to do to leave the county it became a very expensive lesson for him.

I was kind of worriedly surprised when he was so casually stating that you need to move to another country if you don't want to pay taxes! Such a cool person and such innocence.
Also, how do we register for paying sales tax if living outside the US?

    • @GetHelpTax
      @GetHelpTax Před 4 lety

You may not need to. Amazon collects and pays the tax in most states for you. If, for whatever reason, you still need to pay sales tax you first need to register with the particular state(s) for a sales tax account number.

Americans living abroad will eventually have to pay US taxes (based on a different criteria, a different % and tax bracket) from the converted income tax where they live. Will definitely have to pay taxes twice. Depending on the type of income.

Transferwise still doesn't offer a debit card for India. Looks like the only Asian countries they offer it are Japan and Singapore, they missed out on a third of the world population in India and China! Besides many US companies like Walmart require a US billing address (they don't even have an option for other countries!) to be furnished in order to be able to purchase from them. A debit card alone doesn't serve the purpose in such instances.

Hi ! here is why for some countries like tunisia morroco algeria ....etc you can't have the bank account to get paid from amazon : simply because you lose some 20 to 25% automatically when the exchange (from usd to local currency) is done in the bank : example : you are expecting 1000 usd from amazon , you will get the equivalent of 750 usd ( official exchange) rather than the 100% of equivalent of the 1000usd in the local currency !! means you are losing the amazon margin cuz of the non convertibility of the local currency !
from another side Transfertwise do not deliver the mastercard for several countries like those mentionned above !

I was told to choose my country again so they can verify that I was who I said I was. As soon as I clicked on my country from the list, a box popped up saying 'We can't verify IDs from that country, choose a different country.' It would not take my picture so basically.... that was the end of that. Now.. not easy at all!
    1. What about customs? How to pay customs fees on its road from China to the US?
    2. Who does label each package with barcodes? Barcodes itself cost $250 for 1-10 products.
    3. Not even close to 'easy' to calculate is it even worth to start with your budget when you have to pay all those fees, especially if you don't know about all of them)))
    4. Establish and sponsor your own company also takes money each month.
    The last question:
All of you, who is doing well on Amazon... what the hell are you doing here on CZcams? Why don't you spend all your time rising your business? :)

Hi Myles. Thank you for your video. I would like to open an LLC in the US, live outside the US, I am not a US Resident, and my country is in the Amazon accepted list for Seller account opening. Since I won't have a physical address in the US, and companies normally offer you to open an LLC with a virtual address, If amazon asks for an utility bill, How is opening an LLC in the US actually viable to sell in Amazon? I ask this because having a virtual address won't give you the chance to have an utility bill.

Hello, Thanks a lot for the vdo, great Information! I have a question, please help,
I am from India, and I have registered to sell on amazon USA under global selling platform. The bank details mentioned are ofcource Indian and thus everytime amazon will incur a transfer fees. The option of transferwise that you said is great, but India is NOT is the list of supported countries for border less account. I got to know that as per TW rule your "country of residence" should be one of those supported countries of border less account.
Thus do have any other option for people and amazon sellers like me??
    Thanks in advance.
