I love the drone ending to Boy Racers, having it extended this much is simply amazing.

They aren't similar sounding but two others I love are the one in 'Memory' by preoccupations and the 'nothing ever happens' deerhunter one 👌 (I won't even start on Animal Collective transitions, or gizz)

Their music is not amazing imo. It's borderline unlistenable. The hype around them and bands like Yard Act are unjustified, imo.

unjustified? absolutely not. you can not like something but still recognise why others do. all this tells me is that you don’t understand what the band are trying to do and aren’t willing to try, and that’s sadder than anything else.
imagine how different the world would be now if the beatles had played this on ed sullivan
the drummer looks exactly as sweaty as id expect after playing Narrator
