Lion of the Desert (1980) - In 1929, General Rodolfo Graziani was appointed as the colonial governor of Italian Libya by Benito Mussolini, the Fascist dictator of Italy. Graziani was given serious instructions to suppress any resistance posed by Libyan nationalists, who were led by the rebel guerrilla leader Omar Mukhtar.
