- Palava sauce or Egusi stew is one of Ghanaian and west African nutritious stew one could ever find. It can be paired with lots of swallows, yam or potatoes, rice and the list goes on.

1.5 kg fresh spinach / fresh cocoyam leaves
400g melon seeds/ egusi
3 big onions
1 habanero pepper
3 cloves of garlic
A thumb of ginger
4 fresh tomatoes
200g mushrooms
400g mackerel in tomato sauce
A handful of pre boiled cowskin and cow stomach each
Beef stock
Half size salted tilapia (koobi)
1 tbs shrimp seasoning
20g momone/ stinky fish
Salt
Palm oil
