Great performance of a great song!
I must add however, that the lyrics is quite violent and repulsive - unfortunately, that’s what the folk songs were in those days, and life probably as well!
In translation it goes roughly like: “… let’s give a golden ring to the bride and hang the old lady…” or later “…let’s give the bride what she needs, but we’ll take her virtues instead” which implies violence against the bride.. It’s just sad that such a nice song has such a horrible lyrics!
