Fabulous. Just a thought, you could put a low light in the corner. Berries electrical, like your arrangement can be put in a glass vase which “ could “ just give you enough softener in back ground. Love your work Eve.
Ooh will have a think - the overheads I have are so glaring - useful for work but not pretty for filming x

Just stunning Georgie! The colours are to die for - totally autumnal. It will look fabulous in the photos - particularly with the crab apples and other things scattered about below. I adjusted the brightness seconds before you turned the light on because I couldn’t see a thing. Lol Thanks for turning the light on. It’s a beautiful bouquet. I’m thinking I need a crabapple tree now. My dahlias struggled this year with our very hot summer and the lack of rain. Hopefully next year will be better. I love that persicaria. Some pest makes Swiss cheese out of my amaranth leaves. That love lies bleeding amaranth is quite beautiful in your arrangement. I’ve never seen spindle before. Going to have to research sourcing that. It’s a fabulous arrangement is going to be fantastic in the photos at your clients home. Thanks

No, good light! Now we can see the full glory of the flowers! I am always so sad to cut the dahlia’s with all those buds because I know they won’t open in the vase.
The dahlias this year have been astonishing even though I cut so many buds x

I’m curious. You don’t seem to need to trim down your stems at all while arranging? Do you have a method of determining the best length when harvesting? Or? Perhaps you could discuss on one of your upcoming videos?
I should add that you have inspired me to grow my first cut flower garden this summer and the garden is just now offering loads of blooms 🌼 so i have loads of bouquets to cut in my future :) thank you for sharing all that you do so generously
Sometimes - I generally know what I'm cutting for when I cut but yes, if they've been conditioning for more than a few hours I'll re-cut stems. x

I just found you! Loving your videos, bouquets, methods and your lovely home. Just in case you didn't know, you can change the K value (temperature) of your light bulbs to be warmer and less harsh, then you won't be blinded. Yours seem very "blue" and a lower K value would be much cozier. :)

This is wondrous! Makes a huge statement. I do have a question. Is it unnecessary to recut stems begore putting them in the vase?
well it depends on when they were cut and how fresh they are really - usually I would say yes x

Really would have appreciated seeing the whole video. You talked so much about “the dark”, I wish you had the light on for all of it. Won’t be watching again unless I can see it.

It’s that time of year where I fight the dark - it takes me by surprise and is always darker than I remember - I fear there will be a lot of grizzly green electric ‘daylight’ here between now and the spring equinox x
