    That was real safe stepping over the head when the operator is raising the front. I would've flipped on that guy.

    Hey bro hopefully you got time to reply to this.
    I start next week for a local company doing what you do. You got any tips and tricks for us that are just starting off?
    Thanks.

      Just listen it’s pretty repetitive work so once you get your rhythm your good to go!

    Very interesting. Do you always have to start at a low point, or can you drill for example downhill from a high elevation with no problem too?

    • @lifeinthevalley14
      @lifeinthevalley14  Před měsícem +1

      You can drill from a high point too no problem a lot depends on how much room you have to set up and what ground your running in too.

  • @stefangarza6829
    @stefangarza6829 Před 3 měsíci +2

    Question: Do you guys stay parallel with the ground for long distances and even if theres a big difference in elevation from point A to B. Lets say you need to maintain a 6 foot depth.

    • @lifeinthevalley14
      @lifeinthevalley14  Před 3 měsíci +2

      We usually stay around 1.5 meters so around 5 foot and ya we will steer and go with the grade of the ground to maintain the 1.5 meters

    Is the orange line hollow or is the fiber already in it? If hollow how is the fiber threaded?

    • @lifeinthevalley14
      @lifeinthevalley14  Před 4 měsíci

      It’s just a pipe they take a air compressor and a dart and that’s attached to a string then they blow it through to the other end then they tie the fiber to the mule tape aka string and then pull the fiber line threw.

  • @OscarStanley-dz2jo

    Your crew should've had the pipe ready to go with sock and swivel ready, while yall were drilling.

    Would it not be faster to just cut the asphalt and dig a trench? I have no experience in this kind of job, I’m just curious

    • @lifeinthevalley14
      @lifeinthevalley14  Před 9 měsíci +1

      We are only at one spot for about a hour and then on to the next and Legally we can’t open the road it’s a special permit that’s hard to get for that kind of work and when we’re working with the drill traffic can still go bye without a issue
