    Microflex wireless is great! But it has to be setup well. Docking station, switchers, making sure the dante system is setup correctly... Even the beltpacks can be used on it's own, with lapel and even for iem monitoring. =) Really thankful for the chance to use it. Not to mention, docking it keeps it charged and ready to go! Better for "in-house" systems though to keep it plug and play.

      Absolutely, I've only ever run into Microflex in installed systems, but they always seemed to do a fine job when setup properly.

    would NOT buy the R-500 for that price. DAT decks are super finnicky these days. As are the tapes. I own many including an R-500. Paid much less than $700. Leon Russell or not, maybe if it came with his DAT collection!

      I agree, it's all getting to be too much to keep running. I still have a Panasonic SV-3900 and a Sony PCM-800 that seem to come up with a new problem every time I power them on. At this point I would give them to someone local if they wanted to take them.
