There are going to be a good amount of characters who unfortunately will not become playable characters in Smash.
But it's still interesting to think about what kind of move sets these characters can have if they were playable, so that's why I'm here today.

One of Chell's taunts should have Wheatley fall from somehwhere in the sky, yelling at her to catch him, but he'll always spawn in opposite direction that Chell's facing, so he'll always hit the ground. You could even have a hitbox on him as he falls.

glados should say "hello, this is the part where I kill you." and if another chell is caught in it, glados will add "you monster."
Shrek seems like the perfect fit here. I mean he is a meme character, definantly a monster. And the stars alligned so perfectly that an episode of What If landed on April Fools day... again

He made a community post saying that it’s not a joke character just because the video is coming on April Fools day. He said the video was supposed to come last Friday, but got delayed.
He said in the tweet that it wasn’t gonna air on April fools, but it ended up happening, and that it’s a totally normal video.

Seeing how Kazuya is already a character in Smash, it would be cool to see how Heihachi would function too.
The problem with Heihachi is that his recovery would be worse than Little Mac and Ganon. That's why they went with Kazuya. Not saying it's impossible, he is in Playstation All-stars Battle Royale, but it would be difficult to make it work for Smash.

That aside, this was a really cool moveset for Chell, very different than anything I’ve seen for her before. Although there were a few things I thought were missing or could have worked better for certain moves.
- The Repulsion Gel seems a bit odd for a Up-Special to me. The Aerial Faith Place or the Excursion Tunnel could work just as well.
-PotatOS should be a equitable option for the portal gun on the select screen that you can toggle on and off.
- I was surprised that P-Body and Atlas weren’t alternate costumes for Chell or even Echo Fighters. They could have the various costumes they can get in the Co-Op mode or they could have colors that reference the various machines in Aperture.
(SPOILERS)
- The GLaDOS chamber is an interesting idea for the Final Smash, but I personally think Chell could also open a Portal that connect to the surface of the moon, referencing the ending of Portal 2. It could work similarly to Zelda’s current Final Smash.
But I digress. It is speculation after all. Thanks again for another awesome moveset!
"You monster" is a reference to GLaDOS, and what she says when she reunites with Chell in Portal 2. "I think we can put our differences behind us. For science. You monster."

I will say though that I was literally looking to see if anyone else already commented on how much better of a Final Smash The Moon is than GLaDOS.
Atlas and P-Body seem like they have the potential to be their own characters. I'm thinking of an Ice-Climber-style tag team.

Portal is one of the series I want most represented in Smash and I always thought a stage or Chell being a Mii Gunner costume would be great but I would lose my mind if Chell got in as a fighter. Great job on this!
I just discovered that Barry Steakfries wants to dee himself In Smash Bros, so I wanna see a moveset for him
Some other ideas: The dash attack could reference the speed gel by having it appear in a trail on the ground during the attack. Maybe a small chance of having a Frankenturret appear? Also, I think it would be cool if one of Ratman’s drawings of Chell appeared in the background for one of the Victory animations. Only other thing I might do differently is using a portal to an excursion funnel or a faith plate for the up special (which remains on the ground like Sonic’s spring for a while; the former could also affect projectiles and items).
Cool video on the whole though. I never was sure how Chell could work as a fighter beyond just portal gun before seeing this video
Could even just have Chell during the smash attack leave an orange trail directly below Her that works like Inklings roller. But disappears really quickly and is only there as a visual.
Maybe incorporate it into Chell's sprint as well?
Honestly, I like the idea of using a faith plate, as faith plates are a bit more iconic than the blue gel.
I think the Aerial Faith Plate would have the same issue as the Repulsion Gel.

Honestly, I really want the 3ds camera parrot to be given a moveset, imagine his moveset with references to the 3ds Photo and Sound Channel, the Wii photo channel, or even the gameboy camera... Maybe the game would look through the screenshots of the Switch during its attacks and display them or something like this, its final smash would be the puzzle option of the photo channel of the Wii.. 1- this episode is last week's episode. What released last friday? Kirby and the forgotten land. B.j did movesets coinciding with game releases or movie releases. Cynthia or silver are some examples
2- in mettaton's video, the roulette showed some characters. Some already got movesets. But gooey and a few others didn't.
3- we don't have a kirby character for a long time and kirby has a lot of potential characters for smash and little characters in smash. Gooey, taranza, daroach, dark meta knight, galacta knight, susie, Hyness, Whispy woods, Kracko...

Really liked this move set, if I can give a few suggestions for changes.
I'd have the Final Smash be the moon portal from the end of Portal 2 (She shoots a portal up to the sky then to the center of the stage. All players in a certain range will be pulled towards the portal like Zelda's Final Smash. It would then show a quick cinematic of all those sucked in being into space along with Chell, who is saved by a robotic hand as the other fighters drift into the dark void. This would be an instant kills Smash like Sorra's but if you can find cover from the portal's pull you can easily survive it.) It's such an iconic moment that would be so cool to see.
Also for an aesthetic change, I'd have pieces of the scenery lift up as if they were test wall/floor panels disguised as part of the stage, I just think it'd look better than the portals just floating there. Kinda as if the whole stage was still in the facility and the whole match is a test. So like if the portals were made high in the air the background would flip down like one of the walls panels in-game revealing a dark metal and circuitry behind it.

This reminds me of a similar idea I once had about including Portal into Smash. Though instead of including it in the form of a new character, it included it in the form of a stage.
It was a stage that was based inside of the Aperture science center and included a lot of the things that appeared in Portal like the gels, faith plate, turrets, automated portals, etc. The real meat and beans of it however was that the stage had GLaDOS as boss that would occasionally appear in it (similar to Dracula in the castlevania stage) who's main gimmick was that she would sometimes make passive aggressive comments/backhand compliments about the player characters on the stage at the time. With unique voice lines for each and every playable character. Making her in a way similar to Snake's codec calls and Palutena's guidance.

I actually made my own moveset for Chell, and it's actually pretty similar to this one. The major difference being that I decided to add Wheatley to make things a little more interesting. Nice work.
I love this! I never thought Chell could work for Smash, but you've done a wonderful job building a moveset for her. Excellent work as always! On the topic of teleporting characters, Noctis from FFXV might be a fun addition, too. Or, on the subject of lab rat characters, perhaps Subject Delta or one of the other Big Daddies from the Bioshock series!

I like this moveset! Always nice to see Portal get some attention.
I wrote my own Chell moveset ages ago, it's actually kinda cool how different our ideas were. I had GLaDOS tag along in the background, treating each battle as its own test, so whenever Chell needed a testing apparatus, GLaDOS would supply it, and it would be fizzled after use; Cubes, a wall panel and Thermal Discouragement Beams for the Smashes, that automatic portal wall for throws and such, and the portals, Propulsion Gel, Sentry Turret and Aerial Faith Plate for specials, and the Final Smash was also in GLaDOS' lair, I called it "Live Fire Course" with a bombardment of Turret fire, ending in a bomb. GLaDOS would also ideally quip throughout the battle as well. I will day tho, you definitely came up with better alt costumes than I did.
Anyway, I've suggested Glamrock Freddy before, so I'mma do that again here

He'd probably do Raiden before Armstrong unless Armstrong got a LOT of votes.
Raiden is both the third most reoccurring playable character in Metal Gear, and a character with a very fleshed-out moveset in his base game, to the point where it'd be hard to even include everything in a moveset. I tried, I messed with basic attributes to include stuff like the Parry, I brought in the boss weapons for the specials, and even then there were a lot of moves I would have liked to have used but couldn't.
MGR:R's combat has a lot of complexities if you really get into it.

@Puglavender666 It's not as much a want as it is a guess. I personally see Toriel more as an Assist Trophy rather than a fighter.

Overall I enjoyed the video! I love the Portal series and the idea of Chell being a Smash character is definitely something I would have wanted to see. This moveset was incredibly creative and full of fun references. I only have one small nitpick, and that's the Final Smash. If it's going to be a cinematic, it might be best to go all out in terms of scale. But it's your video and your custom moveset, so I'm not too bothered by it. This is just how I would do it.
This alternative Final Smash would start out the same, with Chell opening a massive portal to suck in nearby opponents, but instead of pulling them into GLaDOS' chamber, they fly out to the surface of the moon, along with Wheatley and the Space Core, in reference to the finale of Portal 2. Chell would get pulled through as well, but is pulled back by GLaDOS. After this, the opponents would fall back to the stage, and would have a lot of launch distance upon impact. But if their damage is above 120%, the opponents will instead fly out into deep space and lose a stock.
Both concepts are cool, but I think it would be best to go with the GLaDOS chamber final smash because it's more iconic imo...

Here's an interesting note, though. From what I heard, the reason why the Portal Gun could only be used on moon-rock surfaces is not because it's the only surface it can be on, but rather because of it being a super good conductor for the portals and is very stable on them. That means the other surfaces may easily hold these portals too - just not as well as the stuff you'd find in an Aperture Lab.
Alright! One that I requested forever ago! Also one that I made my own Smash moveset for like 2 years ago. That was a fun video. We had a lot of the same ideas (like the propulsion gel up special lingering for anyone to use), but diverged in some major areas (my version of the side special was the acceleration gel, for example).
This is awesome! The portals bringing in different items is a very clever choice! It gives her a full moveset with diversity while still all being centered around portals!

I’d honestly love seeing Boba Fett/The Mandalorian in one of your moveset concepts. Both have such a vast array of gadgets and weapons that it feels like they would be super fun to play. Keep up the good work, loving your content!

Now that finally the concept of Chell and her portals was made, I personally really want you to see tackle..
"What if Kat was in smash"
Gravity rush is my favorite game series and even though she was already present as a DLC character in PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, I really want to see a more modern approach for her into a platform fighter scenario, specially after all the new tricks and refinements that she got in the sequel of her original game Gravity Rush 2
Missed opportunity to reference the moon scene for the final smash by having the players in the blast zone be sent to the moon to start trying and hold on to chell trying to stay in the stage and the players get damaged while getting sucked out into space by the force of the pull into the abyss of space and if they take to much damage before the portal closes they get sucked into the abyss as they k.o
This is probably one of the most intuitive movesets you've ever made.
One thing for the Nitpick series, dunno if anything here you already mentioned for Samus:
- Samus should be able to crawl in her ball mode like in most games
- I was thinking that, just like in this moveset, the missile should be moved to the forward smash, then the side special should be one of her dash or super speed abilities
- Maybe you could replace the dash attack (or fwd tilt if you're really pushing it) with the new parry/melee from Metroid: Dread. It would take priority over other moves, or if you wanna go crazy, reflect projectiles. Another cool detail would be if you hit an opponent with the move then pressed the special button quickly after, you would be able to shoot a small energy shot at an enemy to deal more damage, at the cost of the knockback from the attack alone.
Other ideas: screw attack should be N-Air and the actual Up-B should be shinespark
It might not be them, but it could be either Nemesis or Subject Delta. It could be Nemesis because he is a literal monster, and it could be Subject Delta because he is called a monster throughout Bioshock 2.

I'm intrigued as to how Chell's portals would work in a 2.5 fighter like Smash.
-Which direction would the Neutral Special portals face? Would you have them face the fighters, thus showing up as glowing lines to players, or would you have them facing the screen like the portals in Smash Ultimate? So as not to be a camera headache, what if the portals faced the screen, but the blue and orange portals glowed their own respective colors across the whole portal instead of the outline?
-Would each costume get their own set of portal colors, or would they all be the standard blue and orange? The prospect of trying to figure out which portal goes to which in an 8-player Chell ditto match sounds hilariously terrifying.
-How would Chell look charging her smash attacks? Would she just be charging her portal gun, and then releasing the attack has her shoot the portals that summon stuff?
-Would the Neutral Special portal shot be considered a projectile or a disjointed hitbox? I'd assume a disjoint, because making it a projectile sounds like it'd lead to some weird interactions with reflectors or Pocket.
-When you say portals are shot at a fixed distance, how fixed are we talking? About the length of a platform?
-What happens if you shoot a portal by another portal? Does it travel through the portal or does it disappear?
-Can portals shot into the air face diagonally, or do they only face horizontally/vertically?
-Would there be set boundaries as to where portals can be placed like with Steve's blocks?
-How would the portals interact with Final Smashes? If a character's Final Smash has them dash forward to activate it, would dashing by a portal have them go through the portal, or would they dash past it? Would a beam FS like Samus' Zero Laser go through the portal or past it?
-I make a note of it in the video, if they're suspended in the air, they face the screen.
-They could be different colors per alt, just to help differ them when dittos are played.
-Yeah, she'd be charging the gun.
-It's a non-offensive projectile. So it can be reflected.
-Much longer than a platform. It depends on balance, but it would have a decently generous range.
-Good questions, I'm gonna say that it's just ignore the other Portal, that or would just be created next to each other.
-They always sit upright vertically.
-Nah, I don't think there need to be boundaries in this case, since you're much more limited with it than you are with Steve's blocks.
-Final Smashes would ignore Portals.

Amazing moveset! Although, if I can request some ideas, they would be this:
-for one of Chell's smash attacks, she should have a spike plate smash the ground, in reference to the Part Where He Kills You.
-Chell's Up special should use the Aerial Faith Plate instead of the Repulsion Gel. In my opinion, the Faith Plate is far more iconic than the gel and is introduced earlier in-game.
-One of Chell's taunts should have her fall through 2 portals for a bit before landing with the boots.
-One of her victory animations could have Atlas and P-Body show up, giving her a hug, whether or not she wants one.

Lex from the Bookworm Adventures series would be a pretty unique choice if he was in Smash, but I would like to see how he would fair on the battlefield. A thoughtful work-around for his gimmicky spelling is the neutral B can automatically spell words from letters on a 4x4 grid next to his profile and his down B can scramble them, switching around letters so that Lex can still spell, which is useful when he doesn't have usable letters. It's just an idea of what I think might work best, so if you have a better idea, go for it.
