Thank for this video, Mary. I recently realized that I have had anxiety since I was a very young girl. I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, diabetes, hypothyroidism, and a few other things going on. My Mom has dementia ever since we lost my brother 16 years ago. We’ve always been super close. Last May I started taking better care of my health. I’ve lost about 35 lbs. I’m trying to get out of my head and relax. So thank you for sharing your journey with MH.

I got a free CP ink pad from SBC (full size!) and dang, it is super juicy. I have 48 of the distress oxides and if I use them to stamp, I will usually clear heat emboss it and it is beautiful! I love this color scheme! As for mental health, I am glad you are taking care of yourself. After 40, your hormones start getting really wonky, so you might have your hormone levels checked. I think as women, we tend to put ourselves last and if you're not taking care of yourself, you can't take care of anyone else. Stay strong---we are here for you! Oh, and the cards are adorable!

Here's the BUT..., but I am old and arthritic and retired much earlier than I ever expected, so I can't get much better than I am at present. As I heard your story, I kept thinking, that's what I should have done 30 years ago. Now I have kind of resigned myself to just expect to limp along. I love your background techniques and results, as well as your finished cards. I have never subscribed to your channel, but will now, because you have become much more than just a great card maker. I am authentically happy when I do my voiceovers; it has been the one great release in my life from what I was struggling with. However, after I was done with the recording, it had taken so much out of me because of the anxiety. But you're right you never know what someone is dealing with. I listened to you a while ago when you were raving about how much you liked Catherine Pooler ink and I tried some. I am now in the process of converting all my ink pads to Catherine Pooler. I love how easy they are to stamp and the results you get. The pads are so nice and juicy and they do blend wonderfully. I just adore them and plan to get all the colors, but I have to watch my budget so will do it slowly.
These cards are so great. Love all the backgrounds. I only have 4 CP inks mainly bcuz of the price point... but I agree... they are terrific! And I’m so proud of you and your mental health journey. It takes humility to not only admit you need a little help but to actually go out and get it. You may have just helped many who were afraid of both. Here’s to better “us”! 💕🙋♀️🌴

In inks I have a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Over a month ago, I decided I wanted to jump all in with one brand of ink...I was considering Simon Says Stamp, Simon Hurley, Distress Oxides.....but I could not decide or take the plunge. Then you came along with this video and totally changed my world! Im sold! I ordered all the bundles of the mini stamps I could from Catherine Pooler. Are their huge disadvantages in having the smaller ink pads? I am so excited to get these awesome inks! Thank you for sharing your love of paper crafting, your fun and playful crafting, and being real! So appreciate you! 🥰
Hi Brenda! You will NOT be disappointed in these inks. I love them so so much. I'm working on my reinker supply slowly now. No disadvatage to the smaller ink pads in my opinion. They obviously have less ink but once you get the reinkers you're good for like 54 years. hahah

Mary, everything you said resonated with me. I tried therapy a little over a year ago but did not feel like it was helping. Then with loss of job and no insurance have not seen a doctor in a year. My faith helps but I still struggle daily.

I’ve just started my Catherine pooled dye inks. I completely agree. I use distress oxides and Catherine pooled now. No need for any others. I have the mini distress and had forgotten about them until I was rummaging around in my room yesterday. I got them out and blah!
These cards are adorable! I am so happy you are doing better. I believe everyone needs a little mental treatment. I got so much better talking with a professional. Never apologize for being real. BTW, I do the same thing with my powder tool.

I a!ways wanted to have a planner that worked for me long term. I. Couldn't stick with one but almost A year and 1\2 ago, I began A bullet journal with a CP Canvo, THE best dot grid paper (although I wish she sold it unbound as well) stencils & stamps enable me to be as creative &/or functional as I need for each week. If I'm down, creating an amazing spread boosts me up. I keep to do list brief and jot down accomplishments each day, sometimes even insert photos, stickers memories in it as well!! Life changer - and these cards are amazing!

I adore the party collection! Not so much the spa... Anyway, I believe her inks are the most versatile. Especially great for those of us with limited space. These cards are all so cute.

Congratulations on getting healthy, wishing you continued health & happiness! I think oxides don't stamp solid images well either. But i just have oxides & pigment inks & now a few regular distress inks and idk how to stamp smooth images without buying other inks?
Yes they are amazing! I have nothing bad to say about them. I do not encourage overbuying though. If you are getting what you need from what you have, use them up and then maybe you'll feel better about getting them.
Oh my, you are a bad influence, more CP inks that I now have to resist :( I am so pleased that you have found your happy place. Well being is so important. Love the colours and cards, thank you for sharing. Is there any way to seal the ink to stop it from being water reactive? I have a problem with dribbly cats and have to disguise boo boos with strategically placed sequins etc…lol xxx
Hi Ali, I'm so sorry! They are just so PRETTY! So the Distress glaze will make them non-water reactive. Apply it with a sponge and will dry clear. Hope that helps!

From what I recall the newer Stampin Up inks were very similar to CP. If you have refils and tons of them, then I recommend only buying CP in the colors you really want or don't have. I hope that's helpful

I listened to you a while ago when you were raving about how much you liked Catherine Pooler ink and I tried some. I am now in the process of converting all my ink pads to Catherine Pooler. I love how easy they are to stamp and the results you get. The pads are so nice and juicy and they do blend wonderfully. I just adore them and plan to get all the colors, but I have to watch my budget so will do it slowly.

These cards are so great. Love all the backgrounds. I only have 4 CP inks mainly bcuz of the price point... but I agree... they are terrific! And I’m so proud of you and your mental health journey. In inks I have a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Over a month ago, I decided I wanted to jump all in with one brand of ink...I was considering Simon Says Stamp, Simon Hurley, Distress Oxides.....but I could not decide or take the plunge. Then you came along with this video and totally changed my world! Im sold! I ordered all the bundles of the mini stamps I could from Catherine Pooler. Are their huge disadvantages in having the smaller ink pads? I am so excited to get these awesome inks! Thank you for sharing your love of paper crafting, your fun and playful crafting, and being real! So appreciate you! 🥰
Hi Brenda! You will NOT be disappointed in these inks. I love them so so much. I'm working on my reinker supply slowly now. No disadvatage to the smaller ink pads in my opinion. They obviously have less ink but once you get the reinkers you're good for like 54 years. hahah

Mary, everything you said resonated with me. I tried therapy a little over a year ago but did not feel like it was helping. Then with loss of job and no insurance have not seen a doctor in a year. My faith helps but I still struggle daily.

I’ve just started my Catherine pooled dye inks. I completely agree. I use distress oxides and Catherine pooled now. No need for any others. I have the mini distress and had forgotten about them until I was rummaging around in my room yesterday. I got them out and blah!

I was extremely impressed with your beach scene card. We only saw you do part of your waves, would you mind doing a video where you show it in further detail? I have a stamp from Gina K that is like the foam on the water as it hits the beach, but the texture on yours just blows me away.

I a!ways wanted to have a planner that worked for me long term. I. Couldn't stick with one but almost A year and 1\2 ago, I began A bullet journal with a CP Canvo, THE best dot grid paper (although I wish she sold it unbound as well) stencils & stamps enable me to be as creative &/or functional as I need for each week. If I'm down, creating an amazing spread boosts me up. I keep to do list brief and jot down accomplishments each day, sometimes even insert photos, stickers memories in it as well!! Life changer - and these cards are amazing!

I think oxides don't stamp solid images well either. But i just have oxides & pigment inks & now a few regular distress inks and idk how to stamp smooth images without buying other inks?

Yes they are amazing! I have nothing bad to say about them. I do not encourage overbuying though. If you are getting what you need from what you have, use them up and then maybe you'll feel better about getting them.

Hi Ali, I'm so sorry! They are just so PRETTY! So the Distress glaze will make them non-water reactive. Apply it with a sponge and will dry clear. Hope that helps!

I wish I loved her inks. I am heavy handed and have cerebral palsy. I struggled with her ink when I used a friend's.

Any idea how the CP inks compare to stampin up? I have a ton of them with refills and wonder if it's worth buying any CP ones.
From what I recall the newer Stampin Up inks were very similar to CP. If you have refils and tons of them, then I recommend only buying CP in the colors you really want or don't have. I hope that's helpful
