  • Showing how to layout a house per plans and code in my area. This is the first time I've ever been on camera so I was a little nervous! This is always the first thing I do before starting a new house. Very important to mark up as much as possible.. Residential Electric

I got to say there are better produced videos out there but this is the most realistic I've seen yet. For all you apprentices this is what it's gonna be like, your not gonna be checking your code book, measuring out each hole or in a quite place. It's get in there, understand the marks and get those boxes on so you can start pulling home runs. I really appreciate the authenticity to this series of videos, thanks for showing the reality of the trade. :)

I am in Alabama, got injured on commercial job and was sent to baby sit residential guys, so some code questions come up and I am lost, I was told a kitchen light has to be on it's on circuit which makes NO SENSE. Most kitchen switch boxes have the porch light and flood lights maybe a dining area light kitchen light maybe a fan switch lots of box fill , so why the hell would the code say to put a kitchen light on it's on circuit? If you can give reference # for a correction I would appreciate it . I get aggravated with the house wiring and really aggravated when I dont know the actual way I can do it and still be in code . I need a video on a 3 or 4 bedroom circuit layout , see how you guys run your homeruns and branch circuits and compare , learn new ways to adapt or pull rooms in better ways

If a house doesn’t get done in one day the company will be going to shit cause of the trips back.
