It is on the person. Not all singers can sing the same. And not all Christian artists are for everybody. He has a great voice, but I can't see myself worshiping GOD to his version. I can see myself cleaning or relaxing to his voice but not lift my hands.
Interestingly, here now 2 yrs later I read your comment & believe I have something real to share on topic: I attended a church decades ago wherein a few mbrs would, on occasion, go to Brentwood suburban Nashville to meet with people they knew. While visiting there, the pastor of the church I attended asked who amongst all of Nashville-land Gospel kingdom best lived the Christian faith out in their personal life. Seems odd but it was pretty much unanimously the opinion that it is Alan Jackson this country singer. True story!

Thank you Mr. Jackson, your gosple concert was the last songs that my mother heard as I help prepared her for an end of this life to begin life with our savior Jesus Christ. Your calm voice had sang to her to help us all as Angel's were in mom's houses lost her 5-16-2022 just a month ago abouts. This one song played as I weap over her knowing I was losing the one who carried me for 7/8 months as I was born 3pds premature and doctors said I'd not live ,,mom had to watch the breathing machine breathe for me cause my little body was so not ready to be on its on, mom prayed over me and weap as same as I did for her in her last days, so I know what she felt. I miss you mother,,,,, I pray your smiling with no pain and experiencing all the joy you could ever know,,,,,,

I have been praying for God to heal you. When Dodie Osteen was given the news about an illness she and her husband prayed and she never claimed the illness but the blood of Jesus and His healing scriptures over the condition.
