- Designed to give millions of people "freedom from fear", the NHS today is under threat of being sold off and converted to a free market model inspired by America's disastrous health insurance system, which results in the death every year of an estimated 45,000 people. President Trump said the NHS is "on the table" in any future trade deal with America. Filmed in Britain and the UnitedStates, this timely, compelling documentary touches us all and reveals what may be the last battle to preserve the most fundamental human right.

We as average humans are in the grip of a perfect storm. The food we eat is processed to ensure we become addicted to seed oil fats and sugar, even fresh veg are grown in depleted soil resulting in poor health and obesity. Big pharma is ready to step in with a plethora of expensive drugs to control our lifestyle illnesses. All in the name of money. Take your own health care seriously and do research into everything you eat and drink, exercise regularly, you don't need a gym. The UK is a ruin, not just the NHS. All those public sector jobs that are outsourced and contracted to private companies, and staff put onto lame contracts earning a measley wage is a disaster. This is in no way how to treat the working class.
Ye, but that's part of the problem: it's not only the WK who use the NHS. There are extremely privileged patients using the NHS.
Really, from day 1 ( 1947) it should have been limited to those under a certain wage .
Once you get millionaires using it then the socialist aspect has already been lost.
@@morejoy5188Sorry, but I strongly disagree. The NHS was rightly dedicated to providing good healthcare to ALL, not just one group of people. Had it been limited to “just the working class,” care offered would likely have been, at best, merely adequate and perhaps worse than that. There is nothing to be gained by limiting it, much to be lost.
(I am a retired NHS nurse. I probably should be deemed middle-class, not working class, but regardless I am a whole-hearted socialist and believe in a good quality health service for absolutely all.)

This should be shared on National TV, this is a huge national outcry. Bring back the NHS Hospitals that had the Matron in charge of everything. Get rid of the business consultants and management, that will be the saving of the NHS and will save the country money
Matrons were mainly in small hospitals, which are super sized now. They were on the whole a dedicated breed(never marrying and usually living on site at a lot of the hospitals) they were fading them out around 1980. Replacing them in larger hospitals with staff who were in charge of a specialised group of wards. Of the 5 hospitals I worked at only 1 remains and that is because of the local people who fought to keep it open...
I saw the business going on when I used to take my mother to the hospital. Pharmaceutical salesmen brought in their experimental drugs were seen first. My mother threw the drugs in the trash, saying "they will never experiment on me," which is what they were doing with unapproved drugs.

Whilst living in the US, I saw a doctor in their private practice. Her advice to me was to avoid the American diet. She explained why, although she didn't need to. The family around me had all the "lifestyle" illnesses. And what they paid for medication was unbelievable. In addition, one who had a variety of strokes/heart attacks had to downsize as could no longer afford her home. This led to emotional health issues. In my last time travelling around California I saw Medicin San Frontier were there to provide health services!!! I thought, I am so glad that the NHS exists. But on returning to UK, I realised that I was still behaving as if in the US, and very health focused. But I needed to see a dentist!!! I do not qualify for NHS and private means paying ridiculous prices for a checkup. I am never called back for further checkup because I do not have major issues which means more money. I have seen the proliferation of private ambulances and never considered what this may mean. This documentary raises some important points. But how do we mobilise and say enough is enough??

I've been on thyroxine for 30+ years. It's standard medication for a common condition and millions of patients will depend on it for the rest of their lives. This drug had no patents. It cost pennies to produce, and there's no development money that pharmaceutical companies need to recover through sales. The drug would now cost over £80 a month. If there was no NHS, 10% of my income would be used on this one drug, and many patients will be on cocktails of medication with this being one of the cheapest. The price has been driven up by competing pharmaceutical companies trying to drive smaller producers out of business. Their costs did NOT increase. This is just extra profit that they didn't earn but are able to steal from the NHS.
Blame the 🇺🇸 capitalists first. I do
You can blame corrupt politicians for that, we've allowed this to happen, people don't care about other people anymore they care about themselves. You are very naive, the NHS has been wasting billions of UK taxpayer money for decades, this is not a Tory or Labour thing, it is about lousy administration policies, no more money should be pumped into the NHS until this matter is addressed..
Labour didn't do any better. They started privatising the NHS
Tony Blairs Labour was the party who happily continued Thatchers PFI. I work in the NHS on the front line and the difference now from only 20 years ago is devastating. One of our consultants was a patient on our ward and she told me how herself and other Dr's and management were sent to America to see how their healthcare system worked. She hated it. Our new hospital well it opened in 2012 anyhow it was built by Sodexo and the wards are built mainly with single rooms ready for the private sector. Huge rooms and huge corridors that could have even extra beds. Some of those 28 bedded wards have had to convert bathrooms and dayrooms into beds and bays and that still isn't enough. Patients with dementia moving wards in the middle of the night. Staffing at dangerously low levels. Management walking around with clipboards causing havoc. I left the acute trust after 20 years because every shift I was arguing with site managers trying to protect my patients and staff. Now in primary care its better for me but I see the whole damn picture and it is heartbreaking how human beings are being treated. Don't get me started on procurement and the total waste of resources.
We have no political parties that have the ability to get the UK out of this mess. It's going to get worse year on year
Information from a highly experienced nurse who has worked a cross many fields and departments of the NHS, on visiting a friend working in a private hospital she was aghast to observe a range of equipment, some used for extremely ill patients was that which had been rejected by the NHS as substandard and not fit for purpose.
The NHS is now completely in ruins with doctors and nurses on strike, waiting lists sky high, no access to a GP, ambulances queuing outside A&E with patients inside that they are unable to offload into hospital as there are no beds for them. The list is endless, and I feel total despair at everything this Government is doing which is completely deliberate. Thank you John Pilger for your excellent but deeply upsetting video. The future is really terrible for the British people. We will for sure end up just like America, with millions of people completely deprived of health care because they can't afford to go private. It's a population cull, as simple as that. Mass genocide.
When I was in hospital I used to chat for ages with the senior duty nurse at nighttime, she said she felt so sorry for patients because of the sub standerd meds being used on us, blew me away because she's correct.

Dr David Owen harks at the moon, unfortunately those days are long gone. We are a much bigger society but the NHS doesn’t seem to have learnt about economies of scale. Plus, society’s attitudes have fundamentally changed. As opposed to revering the NHS, it’s now seen as a panacea for all ills - everyone seems to be sticking their hands in the cookie jar irrespective of wether the NHS can afford it. Surely, we should be redrawing what services the NHS actually provide and if there should be limits to the cost.

I am a Brit who has been living in the US for several years. One thing I remember about the UK that united the vast majority of British people of every political persuasion was a pride in the National Health Service and a willingness to defend it from attack and privatization. Here in the US, we have to deal with cut throat insurance companies that do not care about your health. They care about making a profit. It is not just patients who feel confused and ripped off by these companies, health care professionals have similar feelings. To turn the NHS into the American healthcare nightmare could not happen overnight, but it will happen eventually if the British people don't unite, organize, and protest on a sustained and massive scale. Privatization of elements of the NHS has been taken by stealth and ever so slowly by Tories and New Labour over the years so as not to alarm the public. Simon Stevens, former CEO of United Healthcare, my price gouging private health insurance company here in the US, was made head of NHS England by the Tories but was an NHS policy advisor for Tony Blair and New Labour before the Tories took over. Remember, even Trump said the NHS will not be off the table in negotiations for a US/UK trade deal.

@ManInAPit agreed: but being pro active about staying healthy would take a lot of pressure off the system, it has to be said
I agree, self inflicted illnesses,no one wants to be accountable for themselves
Here in Finland our so called "free" healthcare hasn´t never been free. Much cheaper of course than in many countrie´s, but things are rapidly changing here too. Rich people only care about money and profit, no matter the humanlife. I´m really scared coz problems are daily things. Nobody answers when you call, lines to treatment are 8 month-to 2 years!!! Baby died mothers womb coz hospital sayed to her she can´t come and deliver in hospital coz they are so busy!
One woman´s cancer spred dangerously alla over the body because some one forgot to call her home!!
My friends aunt called ambulance when she fell on the icyroad and broke her pelvis. They said to her: Take a taxi🤬🤬🤬
Keep in mind that you live in one of the best countries in the world. Imagine what is happening elsewhere...
So sorry to hear what is happening in Finland. If the mother wanted a home birth couldn't she choose this? Not to forget that everyone was once born at home, with the village midwife/wise woman to help! We have to relearn a lot of skills now that we have all forgotten. Even the farmers were once skilled surgeons, they had to be to help their own animals: the first surgeons were taught by farmers!
Yes I'm surprised to hear that about finland
I'm a Conservative but we must support the NHS and vigoursly report on any and all attempts to undermine our great British service. We must not decend into the pit of evil that is the insurance/profit model the Americans run. Having said that, the NHS must be controlled with its finances.
Tevorfry When you say conservative what exactly do you mean? social, economic, ecological! In response to your comment but it's too late for nearly 50 years we have deregulated everything from health care to banking and of course politics! We need true democracy ie "socialism" rather than autocratic power centered corporate idiots who are obsessed with adding zeros to their stock value, we need transparent direct democracy starting in the workplace
Although operationally impossible for govt taxes to be recycled for spending.
All govt taxes are deleted when tax obligation is met leaving only bookkeeping for Treasury, BoE, HMRC, NI, etc. All govt spending is NEW £’s as a result of political will aka fiat/sovereign spending.
🇬🇧 is monetarily sovereign & in no way suffering from affordability issues. 🇬🇧 can ALWAYS afford ANYTHING priced in £GBP£.
Our problem is strictly a deficiency in political will. Where the political will goes the money ALWAYS follows.
It should be top priority what have any of us got if there is no dts. Nurses and good hospitals.
Good. Now make sure you never actually vote for the conservative party ever again. They were opposed to the NHS from the start and the NHS will never ever ever be safe in their hands no matter what they say.
I agree and staying within the budget is aided by staff. Where there is will there is a way.
Firstly kick out all private interference in healthcare (but keep their money) 2) no private corporation inside the UK can invest outside the UK & no corporation outside can take money fom the uk economy 3) tax them heavily 4) as a UK based corporation either they invest up to 30% of their excess profits in the uk with no expectation of profiteering or they & their company leave the UK in other words as a private corporation you should be expected to feed into the public sector services without expectation of profiteering but only to expect those public services to be there when you need them. Health & social care must come first & must be the highest funded service of any society period. If corporations do not like this then they are morally corrupt & should be immediately dissolved..
Yes, unless the general.public organises itself to make a concerted response along lines you have suggested, it will get worse. Silence equals consent, otherwise.
My beloved Husband was taken off the Ventilator he clearly needed. We were told that “the next 24 hours are critical” and that it was a medical decision to take him off the ventilator.
Appalling deathbed scene with a young doctor checking his pulse ever 5 minutes or so and two nurses standing in the doorway, watching. Our Children and Grandson stood by helplessly. I never thought that my Husband was dying.
To add to the trauma, we had not been able to see Alfie for weeks - he was in an Nursing Home as he had Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. From being with him every day, I had not been allowed to see him due to the Covid restrictions.
I believe that the “medical decision” was because they deemed there to be no quality of life, but they were wrong. Rest Peacefully My Darling. 💔
I wish this could be shown on a big screen in the commons during PMQ'S.
What's the point of that when it would probably get the same reception as Andrew Bridgen when he tried to shine a light on the recent deception! Mass walkout and crickets!!!
Thank you John Pilger for bringing this heartbreaking documentary it’s such an eye opener…hope and pray that this atrocity against humanity will come to light and these corrupt, greedy politicians will be brought to justice for their crimes!🙏❤️
Been working foir my local hospital 13 years, 5 of those on the wards as an HCA. We've recently brought back in house portering, housekeeping & catering after several private companies - the likes of ISS, Sodexo failed to provide an adequate service, think Hinchingbrooke on a smaller scale. We particularly struggle financially as part of our estate is a children's hospital that is PFI. Privatisation of public services does not work, should be reversed & all of it taken back into public ownership. Services should be run for the benefit of everybody not for private companies to make a profit out of...
The hospital I worked at the portering and domestic staff went out to tender and lost. the contractor did not submit for new equipment (basically it was not checked on). The tugs, vacs and buffers etc were 20 years old and shared. The 1st contractors sold out to an American firm due to losses. It cost the NHS big time. Happy to say it went back in house. I could add a lot more but it is over;20 years ago. I personally felt that tendering out services of any description should never have been allowed as common sense tells you they want a profit. This article veryfy what I thought 25 years ago
Let me make this very clear. 13 years ago the British people voted for a Conservative government. A party that has never believed in the NHS. However, for 13 years the British people voted for them four times. When will the British people ever learn from their catastrophic mistakes. I would not be surprised if they vote for them again for the fifth time. The British people need to take a long good look in the mirror and ask themselves who are we? What are we? What have we done? What have we become? And where do we go from here? Because right now your country is just not investable right now. This will be for the long term. When are the British people going own up and say :’We are the mentally sick people of the world, we need help and we seen the errors of our ways. Our egos and emotions cloud our judgement. We British people should be ashamed of ourselves. The sad reality is British will never, ever own up to their mistakes. It’s always someone else’s fault. Shame!😔
As far as I've seen rhe British don't run NHS anymore! Last week I had to attend A & E and felt like I was in a foreign Country, they were nice people but I didn't even understand a word
That started in 80's . My son was rushed in after hitting his head in the playground and was unconscious. The doctor spoke very little English clearly and got very annoyed with me. A nurse came and explained what he had said. I read my son's notes a couple of days later and he had written that I was an unfeeling mother...
It's called cheap labour!
We aren't patients anymore, just assets.
I have assets and care for them dearly as an inheritance to my future generation. You're "stock".
God bless your soul, John Pilger. You were never afraid to shine the light and expose corruption and propaganda.
How the Americans are treated like that poor woman with crohns is just terrible!!!
35:00They always propose "small fee" at first, but its just a thin wedge to introduce the precedence. Once the practice of payment is established the game is on.
I remember when the much discussed £1 drop off fee at Luton Airport was first introduced in 2009. Now its £5 for 10 minutes. London Congestion Charge: increased from £5 to £15, extending the coverage.
John, I think people need advice on how to fight this. We need to (perhaps starting at a local level) get people engaged. Marches and protests only in London, are great for people who can afford to get there/live there, but for others local protests need to be led and organised. Writing to local MP’s just leads to being ignored or just sent a standard reply response. What do we have to do to make an impact? How do we identify and encourage true and decent leaders to come forward and support them? MSM will do us no favours that’s for sure. This government has been and still is, really cunning in misinformation and closing us down/depleting us in many ways.
Good point!! Maybe, if someone good at organising people could be found in small pockets of the population, people will rally.
They say we need only about 11% of the population to effect any change...
Thankfully almost everyone on CZcams has an email address.. maybe interested parties can coalesce from the comment sections alone...
I must admit, I'm quite poor at organizing People myself... But I'm sure there are many who will die to create solutions for our children, our future... (I hope I'm not dreaming though...🧖🏾♀️)
In all fairness, we all need to take more responsibility for maintaining and improving our own health and make better choices for our children’s health. The NHS is SICK CARE not HEALTH CARE. In Australia we have this same national health care, and we have not yet reached this appalling state, but I feel we will as the costs soar, the people age and families are more unable to look after their elderly. Nutrition and some type of exercise or activity are the basis of a healthy life. Sure things will go wrong, but let’s spend more money on prevention.
There's a good book about that .. How Not To Die by Dr Michael Greger. All about science based nutrition and disease prevention.
Agreed but I need to point out that originally the NHS created to provide preventative care to all. Back in the day there were campaigns such as providing vitamins and cod liver oil etc to children. But sadly preventative care was lost early on in the current downwards spiral of the NHS. 😭
I agree,my daughter worked in the wards and so many of the amputees were from type 2 diabetes patients, who just don't care, drinkers and smoking related illnesses, self inflicted
I’ve been to Ramsey health care as a private patient and was amazed how many NHS patients were there! This really annoys me as the same surgeon does the work as nhs but the money doesn’t go to the local hospital worried
Mine was 10 months wait for an NHS op which was a mess. Done by an Eastern European doctor in a rush with no bedside manner. Discharged without further hospital follow up to care of overloaded GP system, which is already not coping. 29th in the telephone queue for an appt to see a GP. Was told to go to A&E when they could not fit me in. Bounced from one service to another with severe pain and wound infection from 4th day. The hospital I was operated in, was similar to Spire- if there were surgical problems one would have to be transferred by ambulance to the sister hospital 25 mins away with all the facilities. As a nurse - it is not patient centred care. No compassion!
It's called business with profits and shares in private companies. Thank the Tories for your experiences.
Open secret is the perfect description. What sickens my core is that not only are they finalising the privatisation of the NHS right in front of our eyes, but that we’re still paying the same amount for it in our taxes while the services are decreasing at warp speed. It’s time we the people opened our eyes to this and made a collective stand against this robbery.
I am completely against privatisation of the NHS
NHS are ok if you need stitches or a plaster but for anything more complex don't bother, just don't go there unless you want a misdiagnosis for which they'll prescribe an unnecessary operation and toxic potions for the already struggling body.
I think the same thing happened to staff at Omni labs. It broke the staff and denied them a pensions and left debt to the NHS. Privatisation on this model is obscene. Beware.
Who the heck are Omni? It's time the public knew who the owners and shareholders of these ghastly companies actually are.
@@pipfox7834 don,t worry, the labs were ‘dissolved ‘ in 2018.
Heck - how are we to know where privatisation is masquerading unnder an NHS banner?
What NHS? There is none ...yet we're paying MORE EVERY MONTH FOR IT Thats the WEF governments we have in the UK.
We need a new government party for the British people. A government that will reverse the decline of GB, NHS, education, policing, courts, prisons, public transport, etc Vote UKREFORM
MOTHER IN LAW HAD HIP OPERATION, COST 6 GRSND 20 YEARS AGO, IT POPPED OUT AND WECALLED AMBULANCE TO TAKE HER BACK TO THE PRIVATE HOSTPITAL THEY IN TURM SENT HER TO NHS HOSTPITAL THATS LIKE BUYING A CAR FROM A LOCAL GARAGE AND WHEN IT GOES WRONG THEY SEND YOU BACK TO THE MAIN MAKERS

Man's inhumanity to man. Thank you, Mr. John Pilger, for the beautiful documentary.
So true evvil prevails when the good men do not speak ..atb
Is it murder to remove a person from life support against their will and the will of the family? Especially with the NHS system where tax payers pay for it which means it doesn't cost much for individuals to keep people on life support. Also if the NHS system or national health care is soo perfect why does it take months to schedule a simple appointment when it should take a day or a few days at most? A person shouldn't have to schedule a month in advance for a simple appointment
Noticed how he doesn't talk about the negatives of the NHS and national health care... Also China has national health care, why don't you move to China if you are soo concerned about health care? Any sane person would move to a country where they can get the benefits they want especially if they have the opportunity and means to move there. (It only takes 1 pay check to move to China or at least go to China and claim refugees status (don't give me that you need money because 1000s of people come to the west with no money in their pockets and are able to get a place to live.
Move to China if you don't like it, nobody is stopping you.
@@bryanbradley6871 A sane person ?
Would be careful

We must stand up and fight this
I cried after this documentary. The NHS must be saved and extend to social care clinical and alternative treatment. ForALL!!!
RIP John Pilger. Thank you for this film and others revealing injustice and inequality. You have made your contribution to making the world a better place and now we must all continue that work for our children and future generations.
This documentary needs sharing far and wide.
We lost the NHS when it was turned into a trust.
Wasn,t it Foundation hospitals first? Every reorganisation the names got longer. Trust. Healthcare trust. Healthcare foundation trust. Trust went out the window.
C'mon British people. Kick out the Tory Labour Liberal parties and install democracy and service back in to the UK parliament.
Remove the NHS & NI contributions. Let us make our own health/lifestyle choices and that way many will be more conscious of their own actions.
I was in a coma for a year, woke up with no memories and was ejected from Glasgow royal infirmary 4 days after I woke up… 1 leg 1 arm and taxied back to a house I lived in 20 years ago!! Not mine !!! Their records were wrong apparently!!!!
Now even surgeons can’t get info from them !!! So i have an inoperable condition!!!
Unbelievably awful. So sorry this happened to you. I would be on the phone to hospital director about what the policy is re notifying carer or family member of your discharge. Thank Gd this not yet happening in Australia (but it seems to be creeping in). If you can, find someone you trust who will act as your advocate in dealing with what happened to you: someone has to be answerable.
@@pipfox7834 could I just add.. 2 years ago they gave me 6 weeks coz they had no idea what was happening… I went to sapphire medical clinics and the neurologist said the greatest thing I’ve ever heard…‘it’s ok son , I’ve got you…I’ve done this before’ and I’m still here getting stronger and living longer .. can’t ask for more … go to them if you are ever in doubt, could change your life
The NHS is effectively a blank cheque for big pharma (a subdivision of the petroleum industry)
It is uncivilised for people to pay for their medical aid. Uncivilised!
This has totally opened my eyes. So glad I saw this. The NHS needs to be protected. I will only ever vote for a government that can stop this skullduggery.
I remember being offering a NHS procedure within a privare hospital. I said a definite No Thanks! sometimes we have to open our mouths.
Unfortunately at this moment in time it's an automatic referral from GP no questions asked. Thus has happened to me twice in the past 13 years for two major ops. On the merry go round and back to NHS with a nice little earner for the contracts awarded to the Private companies IE Ramsay Care and Virgin Care! The latter being 12 years ago plus.
Instead of the nurses and doctors demanding more money they should be helping to bring this agenda to light. Why are they not speaking out more about what is happening to the NHS?
We do. No one listens and we are well paid years ago 1980/90 but today? 2023? It’s rubbish. We’re not rich, we work damned hard for the public who it seems don’t care about our welfare
@Khadijah490 I'm just curious: what would happen if retired healthworkers made a joint statement online, or put out their own short youtube video(like everyone seems to do these days) to make your protest more visible? Just wondering... even a Tik Tok short?
@@pipfox7834 hi pip, in all honesty? Nothing. Even as a Matron / high level manager....not one Chief Exec wanted to listen. They are a group of well paid morons who make sure the UK Govt orders are carried out. xx
I’m not a defeatist...and strange how the same Govt during Covid wanted to “save the NHS” ...they didn’t. It was a ploy to to cause emotional blackmail so that the public would comply with the lockdown rules.
The govt “ gives millions to the NHS” ...but it isn’t for frontline care, it’s to pay the private contractors who are connected to the Govt. Oh and managers too of course....
@Khadijah490 we do! Or the good of us do. You are priceless it makes me so angry to see our NHS threatened. Got to get these mofos out of office then we can start to rebuild...Blair was a liar and a war criminal but most of us were much better off then. I am in tears watching this tragedy and inhuman systems. that Capitalists only take care of 1% and let the others hold their own empty bags.
Crony-capitalists
exactly.
i could add my own, but you summarized it well.
so? what would you prefer then?
Forget your tears, they are worth nothing. Get angry and get ready.
@@havencat9337 The west is being nudged toward the one world dictatorship. Been in the works for decades. Nobody wanted to look at the UN website where their agendas were spelled out. Of course they use flowery language and make it sound benevolent, so has to be read with that in mind. How are the 15 minute cities working so far? Do they resemble the UN smart cities?
Thank you John Pilger for your continued hard work and for such an articulate documentary and expose of this attack on the NHS and society.
I get the impression that the NHS is the PR division of the Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex. The majority of health problems and early deaths are related to non-communicable, or "lifestyle", diseases. Stress, poor sleep, lack of physical activity, poor nutrition, lack of sunlight and time outdoors, lack of connection and purpose, as well as exposure to environmental toxins, appear to be the greatest threats to our health. The bad news is, the medical establishment as a whole don't seem to study much/any of this. They seem to study clusters of symptoms = dieease = prescription of medication or surgery. The good news is, the majority of us have an incredible amount of power to influence our health and quality of life.
We need a good government thats gna take us outta of this mess and help people
Reform!
This film is so scary, but this is what the Tories have wanted for decades ,god help us
First class documentary addressing important issues that affect us all, puts the mainstream media to shame.
Dumping them is not all they are doing. They are playing God by giving patients that they think are not worth living, end of life medication. This slowly kills them.
So true. I had a rotated pelvis and a dislocated si joint, not life-threatening, I know but I was told it was all in my head, I had to put up with it for life and I needed to take anti-depressants and morphine. I taught myself somatics and I moved my bones myself. I was made to feel that my life was not worth living and that I would have pain forever. Not true. They try to get into your head and ruin you. I am a young person, got lots to do and I have achieved many great things. They were trying to destroy me.
@sandralewis-hy3no very scary. I'm glad you were aware. Many people are forced to take anti depression tablets and morphine, along with sleeping tablets.
I told the doctor that I had cancer and needed a mammogram etc. When I went for the appointment they kept saying I had no appointment, they actually shouted at me! They found my paperwork on the reception desk where the receptionist told me to put it. I said to the one in charge that I had cancer as I could see a dark patch, she said no. 6 weeks before the results which the doc said were clear. I kept going back to the doc for over 2 year then asked to go to another hospital. They sent for me within days, because they could see what I saw on the ultra sound. Stage 4. 2 courses of chemo, 3 weeks of radiotherapy for 22 tumours breast and lymph 3 ops. This from a country that got the best NHS award.
The dirty war on the tax payer, doctors and nurses need to be made to work in the NHS for 10 years before they leave this country for another, as £250,000 per student. Above average wage, discountra on mortgage and the best pension around.
I wish I could earn half what they have.
The lack of care was unreal, I stood up asking why don’t the toilet flush? Why is there filth and faeces everywhere, I got answered it’s Sunday!! I answered back saying these are our elderly most vulnerable patients who you said I could infect, not good enough!!! After this I was ostracised, I was witness to 2 nurses verbally abusing my beautiful caring nurse, who was left weeping and shaking!!! I raised my voice and said what a disgrace!!! Next moment big Sister rushes down and tells me if I continue she will have me removed, such dark uncaring demonic energy!!! I refused medication that night, stayed in my room and prayed to our Lord Jesus, I signed out the next day, against their WISHES, trying to put more FEAR in me!!!My original symptoms we’re good ne, so why try keeping me there!!!? I believe they tried to incite me to MH, by GODS ❤ and GRACE I survived, even told me I had something growing off my blood in the Lab , which wasn’t mentioned to my family!!! Stopping me having my family to visit!!! Giving me the wrong food to what I ordered, with holding water which I needed to rehydrate, causing severe constipation and bleeding!!! This is NHS of today, I tried warning the visitors there to take their ❤ Ones home!!! Still suffering PTSD through that experience 😢😢
If you want to keep your health for as long as possible. Give up sugar completely and fast. No smoking, no alcohol. Good luck.
Good but the system caused depression,
Doesn't matter who you vote for the capitalist gets in. I'm so very depressed about my country. It's a hole I don't know how we climb out of. Apart from my husband there's no one to talk to. No one wants to know. "Stop talking about politics"... I'm 58 and I better stay well.
Same...God bless our husbands.🙏
