Banana Spots Glow in UV Light

Spots on a banana have a unique border around each spot that only show in the presence of ultraviolet light.

I think this has something to do with the chlorophyll coloring the banana breaking down. I think it is starting to break down so it fluoresces. I think there’s a vid on it, and how you can predict what parts will spoil first.
