The thing is a lot responsibilities that stay at home moms do working moms do too. I know cause my mom always made sure I had breakfast in the morning and started making dinner after she got back from work. She made sure I knew she was working for me and my siblings. This not shame stay at home moms I think stays at home moms are equally great because their skills when coming to home duties do surpass that of working moms.
So is fatherhood
My mom couldn't stand how daycare was treating me and my brother. She quit her job and became a stay at home mom. She took care of us while my dad worked in the office and building our new house. She took us to school, the library, the park and helped us through sickness and stress while making our house a home for my dad to return each night. I can't thank her enough for giving us that decade before she went back to work.

I worked in daycare and I can say there is no one who can replace mom.
Staying at home is a job because it has some responsibilities. Like cooking, cleaning, and taking care of your family.

My mom has worked as both a stay at home mom and a work at home accountant since I was a baby. So, I guess you can say, she’s always had to balance two jobs at home. Although, a stay-at-home mom is many jobs in one. It involves being a cook, a cleaner, a tutor for the children, a gardener, and sometimes a nurse when the children are sick or hurt. So, more like at least ten jobs.

My mom is a stay at home mom as well and she's a psychologist. She is defo not lazy.
I was a stay at home mom for years when my kids were babies/toddlers, we fell on hard times because its life & sometimes that happens to people. I tried to get a job, but daycare was so expensive. It would have cost us more just so I could work. A lot of parents in my area judged me a lot but they also had mamas and grandparents that watched their kids for free while they worked full time. I didn’t. The biggest misconception is stay at home moms just lay around all day and do nothing. Even to this day, I work now during the hours my kids are in school, I’m constantly doing something around the house when I’m home, then dinner, homework, cleaning, laundry etc. etc. I’ve always worked my ass off even when I didn’t have a job & I still do now. Nobody’s better than the next. I wish people would stop judging others.

@@kayyewil94 my own mom was a stay at home mom, she worked here and there but never for long periods of time. She kept the house cleaned, dishes and clothes washed, shopped, cooked and balanced not only mine but her checkbook. I was working extremely long hours so she took my checkbook over. Still stayed on top of it all until she got sick. She passed away on September of 2005 from Breast cancer. So I know that being a stay at home mom is a rough job.

I’m also a stay at home mom. Before I had my child, I worked hard and earned good money. But being a stay at home mom is the most tiring job and the most fulfilling job in the world, people really underestimate us mothers.

I have four children, was a stay at home mum for 17 years. Last year I got back into the work force three days a week and love it. I love being a stay at home mum too. Never had anyone say anything bad about either situation. I also homeschool my 9 year old and I'm lucky enough to be able to bring him into work with me (my older children are teenagers). Us mothers need to stick together and not be judgmental like these silly b...itches.
Oh and what these silly women are saying about homeschool children not being able to socialise is extremely wrong, my son goes to homeschool co-ops, meets up with friends at sports, kids club at church, plays with his cousins, etc etc.

My live has been one BIG challenge because I’m adopted form China and I have ADHD and a neurological condition that affects me walking. My mom is a highly educated person who has received her degrees from top colleges in my country. She is as qualified as many others and can easily work in high end companies. But she chose to stay at home for us- my sister and I so that there is always someone for us at home and we don't have to return to an empty place. I admire mothers who work because they are also independent and educated- but so is my mother. Unfortunately it angers me when others belittle my mom for the choice, mind you, 'choice' she has taken. There are people who can't make choices because the money is important, and there are people who think they're being 'feminists' by downgrading my mother. It's funny that the people who look down on my mother are the ones dreaming of such high end jobs that my mom can get in a blink of an eye. I hope they realise that staying at home is also a difficult choice to make, and no, they aren't sitting idle at home.

I wish I could’ve been homeschooled when I was a kid. The school was 5 minutes from my house, but it didn’t have strict enough anti-bullying policies, nor did the teachers care to help me, and all the emotional distress I had to endure took a toll on my grades, and more importantly my health.
Wether you are homeschooling or not it does not prove how smart you are. How smart you are depends on how much you are willing to learn to know more.

Working moms don't 'clock out at the end of the day'. They still have to work after that. So you're working double. The plus side is bring kids up to be self sufficient when they grow up. Learn to help mom clean, a little cooking and laundry, so that when they move out, they won't be a 'bump on a log'.

When my daughter was born, I took a month off to stay home. That was THEE hardest month of my life. I called my wife in tears the first day saying I couldn’t do it but she made me. It was one of the best things to happen but you won’t ever hear me say stay at home parenting is easy

My mom had friends like these, and I am surprised that I didn’t cook them infront of everyone at a gathering, it just gives me the ick to see people criticise stay-at-home-mothers. My mom is a stay at home mother and she has a lot on her plate to keep the house in shape.
My mom was a home care aide when me and my siblings were kids. But, my mom’s mental health started to get bad and so my dad insisted that my mom stay at home until she got her mental health back together. My mom currently works as a CNA and works at a nursing home. So, I don’t agree that stay at home moms “have it easy”. My mom had mental health issues but still managed to take care of me and my siblings.

1) why is Hazel there if she doesn’t work? Is she with her husband? And if so, where is he?
2) why is there a random cop searching the place? Was there a warrant?
3) what is this space? Is it a high end business or a high school gym?
4) for such a high powered business, they don’t have bartenders at this event? You have to pour your own liquor?
5) how could the woman “go with the Birkin” when you have to be on a waiting list at Hermes and have to have a long-standing relationship with your SA?
6) Hazel isn’t exactly a typical stay-at-home mom, considering she’s worth hundreds of millions of dollars. And what does her husband do? Is he in business? Does he work retail or McDonald’s? Your typical SAHM isn’t exactly in this privileged situation, so while I appreciate the props for these mothers, the scenario isn’t exactly believable.
7) And why not show a SAHM to be middle or upper-middle class? Does she need to be a billionaire to prove a point?
The message of the story isn’t bad, but the sloppy details derail from the overall effect.
